Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, But What Are You Into?

Well I'm into a lot of stuff but I'm not going to list every book I've ever read so I'll just make a note on the fandoms I'm likely to write about.

UPDATE: Hunger Games

Hunger Games is my 'fandom of the moment' and I'm currently trying my hand at my first OC fic and my first chapter fic! It's all very exciting, so if you guys have the time and you're as obsessed with The Hunger Games as I am then please take a moment to have read! It's called 'Darker Shades of Roses' and it's set during the 68th Games.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Buffy was my very first fandom WAY back in the day and I can honestly say it changed my life (is that sad?!) The very first fanficiton I read was by an author called Soshanna - who I believe has a FFN account here still - and I've never looked back. I've never written anything for this fandom and I don't know if I ever will but Buffy is an incredibly important part of my background so I thought it was important to include it here. Should I ever be brave enough to write anything for BtVS it's likely to be Buffy/Spike, Willow/Tara or Xander/Anya related.

Les Miserables

I have been a Mizzie since just after the 10th Anniversary Concert was released on DVD so be warned my descriptions of the Mizzie gang will not match the faces from the film. Michael McGuire you will always be my Enjolras! *waves red flag* As for shippy loveliness I adore Enjolras/Grantaire and Combeferre/Prouvaire other than that I'm easy. As a rule I'm sort of against pairing Eponine with anyone other than like Montparnasse though - I feel her character is far too frequently disfigured into the dreaded Mary Suzette!

Harry Potter

If I didn't include Harry here I couldn't very well call myself a Brit. Let's break this down real quick...

House? Slytherin. Really? Really. Don't judge me, we're a very misunderstood house. Remember that judgemental face your making the next time you cry at the death of Severus Snape. Favourite Charachers? Hermione, Harry, Lupin (not a very Slytherin-y list so far... Shhh you, stop thinking in stereotypes) Narcissa, Lucius and Draco. Ships? The only ones I really care about are Lucius/Narcissa and... dum dum dum... Harry/Hermione (controversial!?) on the side I do also enjoy Draco/Harry- it's my guilty pleasure. Best Book? Deathly Hallows. Best Film? Goblet of Fire. Character you wish had survived? Hedwig. I cry every time.

The Animals of Farthing Wood

Yes this was a kids series, but it was really very very dark and very very good! If you haven't heard of it I recommend you check it out!

Titanic

What can I say I'm a romantic! I may never write anything for Titanic but as my favourite movie of ALL TIME (how cliche am I?!) it deserves an honourable mention.

The Social Network

Another movie that gets honourable mention. I would love to write stuff for this fandom (Mark/Eduardo yes please!) but as FFN doesn't allow fics about this movie it's kind of a moot point.

Pirates of the Caribbean

The first three movies is what I'm talking about. I refuse to watch On Stranger Tides or whatever it's called. Pirates isn't Pirates without Elizabeth and Norrington! Will I can take or leave.. sorry Will.

Cats

My taste in fandom's is pretty all over the place isn't it? This musical has so many characters that are all so open to interpretation it really is a writers dream. This is a fandom with so much heart and really wonderful people that I hope I can give back to it through my work!

Bleach

I don't even know where to start with this, I could actually go on for days. I may have to do this fandom in quiz format too...

Division? 3rd, 6th or 8th - I can't choose! Favourite Characters? Ichigo, Rukia, Byakuya, Kira and Yachiru- I could go on and on but I'll limit myself to a top 5! Best Arc? Soul Society - duh! Ships? IchiRuki, UraYoru, KiraHisa, IshiHime and UlquiHime. Other Info? I adore the Bleach Rock Musicals. I had to put that out there, they are THE BEST. Ahem.

Ouran High School Host Club

This is the cutest and prettiest anime around. Watch it. You will NOT regret it. Ouran was my first anime (other than Pokemon, and we'll get to that in a second) and I owe it a lot. I don't ship anything for this fandom really (which is odd) although I can't imagine Haruhi with anyone other than Tamaki I don't think I could say I 'ship' them. I just adore the characters on this show in their own right. Kyouya and Kaoru and my absolute favourites.

Code Geass

Somehow I just cannot stop watching this series. And I don't mean because I'm excited to see how it ends. I know how it ends. I've been watching this show on a loop for about 2 years. I need help. Ahem. It's pretty safe to say this is my favourite fandom at the moment and I'm pretty darn obsessed with it. I've spent the past few days writing down literally dozens of fic ideas for CG so expect an assault of geassy fic coming at you pretty soon. I love all the characters, so I'm not limited when it comes to writing character wise. I do however, have some pretty strong opinions of ships! I'm a proud C.C/Lelouch shipper and I am proud to wave the Gino/Kallen flag! In my opinion the most under rated ship in the history of the internet. Fact.

Haruhi Suzumiya

If I had to have a voice in my head, I'd want it to be Kyon. I really want to write some stuff for this fandom but I'm terrified of butchering the characters! If I'm ever brave enough to try though expect some Haruhi/Kyon and some Mikuru/Koizumi - another under rated ship! Maybe even some one sided Koizumi/Haruhi... Okay, maybe I just love Koizumi...

Pokemon

Gotta catch 'em all!! I am a child of the 90s and Pokemon was a huge part of my childhood - much to my parents annoyance. I think Misty and Ash may have been my first ship! Before I knew what shipping was of course.

So What Will I Find Here?

At the moment I'm still a little scared of writing anything longer than a thousand words so I'm sticking to my comfort zone which is a few drabbles and one shots. I love internal thoughts and write mostly in a 'penseive' style.

You'll probably find I write a lot of fluff, a lot of dark stuff and almost nothing in between. The majority of all my stories will definitely contain what I like to call "shippy vibes"

What Does The Future Hold?

I'm hoping that over the next few months I can improve my writing skills and become a more respectable author. I believe that fanfiction is a great way for teenagers to get into reading and creative writing and it's important to try and keep the stories here of a high quality cause lets be honest there's some drivel out there. SPELL CHECK PEOPLE!

As for upcoming projects I'm currenly working on an epic HG story 'Dark Shades of Roses' focusing on three original girls. I say 'epic' not as a description of quality, purely of length - this fic is gonna be a BEAST.

I'd also love to write something Gino/Kallen (Code Geass) it's my absolute favourite adorable pairing and there's just so little fic around for it!
