A year after the Zero Requiem Nunnally brings everyone together to watch two DVDs entitled 'R1' and 'R2'. Every question has an answer, but whether or not they can handle those answers is a question all in itself.

The Demon Emperor had succeeded. The world was destroyed, and in the process, saved. However, when he awakens in the World of C, God offers him a deal: Gain a new power and return back to when everything began, back to Zero's birth. They say the smallest of changes to the past can drastically affect fate. Armed with his knowledge of the future, Lelouch sets out to start again.

AU. The butterfly effect; the idea that the smallest of changes can lead to much greater and more far reaching consequences. After a different series of events occur on Kaminejima, Zero's identity is revealed to those he is trying to keep it a secret from. But, as always, the man of miracles has a contingency plan for everything.

Lelouch is thicker that a brick, so C.C has to spell it out for him.
