If you came here by way of my C2, I apologize for not having a very good description/summary for the community. FFN won't let me have any more than half a line to describe anything. I don't understand, seeing as how most other communities have three to four lines of pointless babbling for their C2s and when I want to say something meaningful, I get five words.

I shouldn't complain.

Quality NonShonen ai/Yaoi YYH Stories

Whether it be romance or drama, action or angst, one-shot or epic, if a story is free of shonen ai/yaoi elements and has an engaging plotline and the author shows a good knowledge of the English language, then that story is eligible to be archived in my C2. Crossovers, if done well, are accepted. Romance is accepted. (I've seen some very well done Yusuke/Keiko and Kurama/Botan stories.) If the story is more than one chapter, the author has to show an interest in updating semi-regularly, either by previous stories or by regular updates of the showcased story. I don't want any readers being surprised and finding an engaging story only to be cut off. Withdrawal is not a pretty thing.

Please note: I do accept and archive fics revolving around Karasu's unhealthy obsession for Kurama provided that the attraction remains one-sided, and is not written graphically. While these stories are not free of yaoi undertones, I do not consider them as such.

A bit of a preview for those fics, I suppose might be in order.

Foxhunt: When a psychopathic demon starts killing the kitsune, Kurama finds he is not only fighting for his own life, but to protect his own family and friends. On the run with a hanyou child and Keiko, all he knows is that if Keiko is hurt on his watch, it won't be the kitsune killing demon Kurama will have to watch out for; Yusuke will have his hide.

Yeah, the summary needs work. It won't be a Kurama/Keiko romance, by the way. Exploring the bonds of friendship will be the furthest it will go. It may have hints of Kurama/Botan, because I have found I love that couple, but I am not a romance writer. This one will be primarily action and drama.

Untitled One-shot: Yusuke is called upon to find a demon in the market place. With Kuwabara down with a cold, and Hiei a no-show, Kurama and Botan are his back-up. Protecting the human race would certainly be easier if the humans cooperated. Between the demon, mix-ups with the local police, and Botan's penchant for clumsiness, the three heroes are in for a comical and crazy heist. (Yes, heist... thievery does play a role.) Inspiration for this one was the mall scene in the movie "Evolution".
