Hey everybody! This is my first fic ever (!) and it is in response to a recent hilarious post from Aliyah O'brien on instagram. I love Gail and Holly together and have been wanting to write a fic for a while. This is mostly set in season 4 before the angst and drama of the ensuing seasons. Just some fun. Hope you like it!

But what happens when five years later a mission leads her to go back home? When she has to face her family after five years of silence? Gail is a lonely teenager in a new town and a new school who is sure she doesn't know the first thing about friendship. Holly is a disgustingly cheerful girl who doesn't mind teaching Gail a thing or two. There's laughter, bloody knuckles, and a kiss or two, sign language, and teenagers trying to grow up right.

Gail and Holly have only ever been friends. When Holly accepts a job in San Francisco, Gail shows up on her doorstep the day before Holly is due to leave to help her pack. This is will be a two-shot, I think.

So here's another one-shot. What would happen if Gail went to San Francisco to get Holly back? These are my musings. Romance, angst, emotion... all the usual things you would expect from me :)

Set sometime in Season 6, Holly comes back and seeks out Gail and well, a conversation ensues and emotions are involved. In my opinion these two belong together and I'd like something like this to happen. Romance/fluff/bit of angst *sigh* Golly forever. One-shot.
