Hi. Welcome to the madness. Ok, I lie. I'm not mad. I'm perfectly normal (apart from my unhealthy obsession with Harry Potter) Thanks for checking out my profile.
I live in Scotland, I spend my time swaying between hating and loving the place (it usually has a lot to do with how the weather is that day). Actually, whilst on the subject of the weather, you can always tell a true Scot if they discuss the weather, usually in negative terms. I have yet to meet a fellow Scot who cannot carry a conversation which entirely consists of complaining about the weather.
I really enjoy reading/writing about the Marauder's era, as you can probably see. I think it's good to be able to write about what happened before Harry Potter, and to know you can write what you want whilst still staying faithful to the story (although not always completely faithful if we are to believe Remus was completely straight)

It is probably quite obvious from my stories that I mostly write Harry Potter fanfictions which are AU. This is predominantly because I'm too scared to try and write something set at Hogwarts in case I am influenced by some of the amazing stories I've read here, or the amazing Harry Potter books themselves. I like the fact that, when writing AU, I can let the story go where I want it to without having to keep to certain events, and knowing it is completely my idea. In the case of my RemusxSirius fics, I have read so many awesome stories about them at Hogwarts I just don't feel I have anything to new to contribute. However as soon as I get an idea I will be right on it.

What's new with me -
I've not been writing as frequently of late, and for that I apologise. I'm not entirely sure why this is, I'm just finding it very hard to finish my existing series. On a different note I have the beginning of about ten other fics so they may be given a chance one day, but then finishing these kind of things has always been my problem. As such I'll probably try and post only almost completed stories, that way my lovely readers won't have to wait as long.

I've realised that all my series are not only AUs, but also set in the Muggle world. I have a WIP which also falls into that category. I'm really hoping I get inspired to write a fic set in the actual time and place of Harry Potter, rather than just stealing the characters and putting them in various different situations and places in my imagination.

What's new with my stories
On Musical Terms - IT IS NOT ABANDONED. I hope never to have to do that with anything I've written. I've been stuck with it for months now, and whilst I am determined to finish it, it may be a while in coming, as I'd like to write something good and take longer. As one of my earliest pieces of writing, it's not as good as I feel I could write now, and ideally I would like to go back and redo most of it.
At the moment it's on extended hold pending completion.
I apologise to those waiting for it to be finished.

Hogwartian Nights - Two chapters out so far, but unfortunately none more written, though I do know what I'm planning to do. This will probably be quite slow moving, as each chapter is a story in itself, and therefore doesn't need to be updated as regularly as my other fics. I HAVE NOT ABANDONED IT. We're just having a bit of a disagreement at the moment.

I have an idea for a longer story, it's a SiriusxRemus AU again I'm afraid. The problem is that it's currently battling for priority with "On Musical Terms" so I'm not sure when it'll be up. Anyway, I hope people enjoy it when I finally get round to writing enough chapters. At the moment it is called "One Dimensional Views".
