![]() Author has written 3 stories for Shugo Chara!. So I've changed my pen-name. Maybe that was a mistake (I'm hoping not), but I just thought I'd tell you that I did. 'Key to the Rose-Colored Clock' isn't just some vague, poetic name that I came up with that I thought sounded mysterious, it actually has a meaning. Also I'll be updating my stories again. Hey there, and welcome to my profile. Unless, of course, you aren't welcome. In which case, please leave. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ This is a delightful message I got from a lovely young girl named BlackicexMistrose. For the whole story, send me a quick PM. She was just being so immature that I had to post it on my profile. your an idiot and you had no reason to message me in the first place i wasn't talking to you in the first place any ways. and i did read most of your page until i realized your just like a bunch of other people i don't like on fanfiction so might might as well tell you how this is going to end if you decide you need to continue to lecurete me basically, which if you keep messaging me you we be blocked by monday. and we will continue this fight that you started. A brief summary of what happened is that I reviewed a story saying that lemons were no longer allowed in this girl wrote in a review "I don't know what she's talking about I see them all the time!" So I sent her a very respectful PM to clear up the situation and explain to her why I said they were against the rules. Then it escalated into this. I don't know why she was so angry with me. She was very, very offended that I explained my reasoning to her. Oh well, now this is for you to enjoy Okay, because you are still here, that means you are welcome. Nice to meet you, I'm Key to the Rose-Colored Clock. -Hands tantalizing cookie- I think writing is an art. So when I go to the book store and see books written in text/e-mail/IM format, I get really upset. Sure, that's a new, innovative way to write books, but what ever happened to the good old way? Whatever happened to the way Lewis Carol, Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, and C.S. Lewis wrote? (If you don't know who any of those people are, I respectfully ask you to leave my profile right now.) Those books will be around until the end of time. Boy Next Door (by Meg Cabot) won't be around a few years after it has come out. It may be good for entertainment today, but tomorrow, it's forgotten. Now, here is where I thank the wonderful writers on Fanfiction.net. My writing is sub-par. I've only written four books, and I just started last Summer, yet the difference in quality between my first and fourth book is immense. I have you to thank for that. My ability to follow a plot closer, keep things flowing, describe more of what is going on, and all the other things I've improved on has happened solely because of you. Yes, you, the person reading this right now. Point to yourself. Good girl/boy. This is me thanking you. I refuse to sit here and tell you how "I'm super nice if you get to know me but sometimes I'm a total bi*" because that's not the case. I am nice to everyone. Even if you're mean to me first, I will not freak out and become a bi, it's just not who I am. However, if you do start it, while I want be a jerk, I will probably just block you. Also, you have agreed to follow the rules at ALL time. Before you write a story, double-check the rules to ensure you aren't breaking any. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ With that said, I'll tell you a few quick things about myself so you can get to know me. I'm actually a crazy person. I like to be loud and I like to be around people. However, I take my writing very seriously, so don't expect me to let my personality flow into my character's personalities. I, surprisingly, am not a very arrogant person. It's just, if you're going to speak English and get on a writing website, you better not suck at either of those things. Speak English correctly, especially in your writing. You cannot get an incorrectly written story published, now can you? This is basically practice for becoming a real author, so please try to act like you want to be an author. Writing for fun is fine, but if you're going to put it on FanFiction.net, it better rock, because no one wants to read sucky stories. Well, it appears I've gone off track. Believe it or not, I am not an arrogant person, and in fact, PM me, and you'll see just how friendly I am. : ) My age? I was born in 1997. If you're too lazy to figure out the years, I am 15. I'm only joking, who really cares about my age enough to do the math? My writing is in desperate need of improvement due to my age, but don't worry, I will write non-stop until I am satisfied with my progress. I am a plain American, nothing particularly special about me. I won't give my description because I'm extremely paranoid about this and that, but message me if you actually care. I'm assuming you don't. Any questions? Message me. I want to branch out and do some Rima/Nagihiko stories, Utau/Kukai stories, and even some centered around guardian characters. Please let me know if you think I should try some like this! There's a little voting box at the top of my profile. If you are looking to make your own character for a story (hopefully not one here on Fanfiction.net) you can use this: Developing Your Own Character I stumbled across that thanks to my older sister, and it works pretty well. Have fun. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Current Stories: The Bonds of Trust: Sequel to 'Three Hearts, One Broken'. Amuto. 150 Reviews and 21 chapters currently out. In five words I'd summarize this book as: Drama Between Amu, Ikuto, (and) Tadase. Stockholm Syndrome: Another Amuto story. 110 Reviews and 11 chapters currently out. In five words I'd summarize this book as: Ikuto Kidnaps Amu, Mental Breakdown. Proving Your Worth: My newest story and first Kutau. I will not bother putting the reviews/chapters as it literally is brand new. In five words I'd summarize this book as: Utau Struggling Singer, Kukai Help? (Of course, since the story is so new and I myself am still getting to know the characters a little, this summary will probably change.) Inspiration (A short little do-da that is perhaps more an update that a section) : Inspiration comes to people in many ways, forms, and places. It's basically all about how you interpret it, and how open your mind is when it comes to noticing inspiration. While I was doing math homework the other day, out of no where, I was inspired to do another Shugo Chara fanfiction. I don't know where it came from, but my homework that night was particularly mindless and I didn't hardly think at all while doing it, and I suppose my mind was wandering. Next thing I knew, the story was developing in my head. In seconds I knew everything that would happen, I knew all about the characters lives, and I was totally enthralled with the idea of writing it. So I began researching it. I've only ever written Amuto stories, so I knew I'd have to research this particular pairing before I could write about them if I wanted to keep them in character. This new book, Proving Your Worth, is out and will very possibly be one of my best yet. So you see, inspiration can come anywhere and at any time, so always keep your mind open, and always be ready to write. Things that piss me off when I'm reading a story: 1. 'Tadagay' 2. 'So-and-So blushed 50 shades of red' 3. 'Anime Fall/Angry Face Sign/Soul Flying Out of Body/etc' 4. 'I don't own the Characters but I do own the Plot and/or OC' 5. Forgetting how to use the Enter key or using it too much 6. Chat. Speak. -Says through grinding teeth- 7. Authors Notes in the middle of the chapter 8. Writer's Block 9. 'Chappie' Whenever I write the word 'chappie', a little red line appears under it. This leads me to believe that 'chappie' is not actually a word. So why is it used so often here on Fanfiction? Beats me. Maybe authors are trying to be cute? It's definitely not a shorter version of 'chapter', so what's the point? Seriously though; someone explain it to me. I really hate seeing this word in stories. 10. 'Glomp' Is... is this even English?! I usually see it in stories with Yaya. You know 'Yaya saw sugar and started glomping people for it'? Yeah, that's actually an exact quote. I wish people wouldn't use this term; It kind of reminds me of a combination of being high and rape. So... let's keep the use of the word 'glomp' to a minimum. 11. Rima is Forced to Live with Nagihiko It's nothing personal, really. I just hate these kinds of stories. I've seen dozens of them. Rima has to go live with Nagihiko and she hates it and then they fall in love! (In my opinion) Not only is that story overdone, it wasn't really that good the first time! Be a little more creative, okay? Now if you manage to do this tastefully then I'll be one of the first people to read it, but usually it's just a terribly bland plot. 12. I don't own Shugo Chara, and if i did Tadase wuld be dead and Amu would be with Ikuto!!!!! Maybe there's a reason you didn't make up Shugo Chara. The story wouldn't be the same if you had it your way. It would be simply horrific. I cannot imagine a Shugo Chara without Tadase, and for the most part, I'm Amuto. Expect this list to increase as I read more stories and think of more things that were already bothering me. I won't review your story badly if you have anything listed above, and I won't shun your story, but these are common problems that need to be worked through in order to become a better author. |
