Medic is acting very grumpy now that the mercenaries have been given a three week holiday, and Heavy seems to make things worse. Also, Demoman and Soldier have a competition to see who can remain the most sober, and to top it all off, Scout gets an unexpected visit which causes Spy to act begrudgingly nice to him. And if they thought the battlefield wasn't eventful enough...

Once the war ended they would never have to see one another again. If only it was that simple...

When the mercs are issued a mandatory vacation to New York...things can only go awry. Grown men try to bond, noses are broken, and hilarity ensues. Written (mostly) from Medic's POV.

Due to nothing more than a silly administrative error, two men found out the terrible truth behind their jobs at RED and BLU. Letting others know their dreadful secret could mean their deaths- but secrets have a way of getting out. There is only one way Medic can survive- he has to trust a member of the enemy team, and a backstabbing, murderous, slimy two-faced snake of a Spy.

(Kind of a halfway finished backstory for my Second Opinion!Medic OC.) They had originally been two different men. Two completely different people. One RED, the other BLU. One was kind, caring, and willing. The other? Dark, angry, and resentful. The only real thing they had in common was the fact they were both stationed at Sawmill, and the fact they were both Medics.

It is Christmastime, and to keep Scout and Soldier from fighting, Engineer and Pyro have agreed to help in a reenactment of "The True Story Of How The Americans Saved Christmas From Being Selfishly Stolen By The Nazis". All is peaceful in Ye Olde Fort, but knowing what we know about those lovable-yet-annoying Mercs, the peace can't be kept for long.

It was the final round. The BLUs were down to three people but the REDs stayed at a strong nine. BLU team's Sniper and Medic were down, and their Scout was struggling to survive. Only one point was left to cap, which RED team's Pyro was taking care of. They were going to finish up for the day, until the RED's Medic got an idea. (Medic/Everyone fanfic - mainly for humor purposes)

Every story has to have a beginning right? Well, your friendly neighborhood Medic had a less than desirable surprise when he suddenly lost his job after killing one of his patients. Having no money, he accepts the offer of a letter that he received mysteriously, going to the states from which he will never return. This is the story of the mercenaries.

The RED team, who happens to be filled with idiots, misses a memo and assumes that their German doctor is going to perform horrible experiments on them. (Which actually happens to be true, but don't tell anyone.)

The BLU Medic makes a quick decision that ends up turning his life upside down. An unexpected gesture of charity gives the RED Spy an idea for his next cunning scheme, and the Heavy tries his hand at subterfuge. The Sniper's advice is unasked for, and the Engineer is unamused. There are also Sandviches. (No actual pairings, though one is somewhat implied towards the end.)

It had been a year since the team was beaten and forcefully retired by Gray Mann. Wounds are mending, and average men are rising out of the shattered remains of the United States to reclaim their former jobs and teammates. What have they lost? What will they gain? Can forgotten bonds be repaired, or are they doomed to be destroyed once more? (Cover by PyBun.)

Our beloved mercenaries are unable to return home at Christmas. Though this is sickening to most of them, and thought to be the worst Christmas of their lives, they will soon find out that they've already had a lot worse...
