I guess I should mention that I happen to like reading nearly everything or anything, so long as it spikes my interest.
In a story I don't truly care about the pairing, it's more about how well the story is planned out, though I will say right now that I am NOT huge a fan of a character named Sakura from Naruto. But that's not to say I don't read stories that have her as a love interest or anything, just that I don't particularly like her.
I read stories for just that, the story, I hate it when people write a fanfic that's just a silly little thing about two people quickly finding themselves in love with one another and then going to bed with each other, supposedly within the span of a week...or not even! Seriously, what the hell is that about?! I don't about you guys but in my relationship I've only recently taken that step...and I've been going out with my man for four years! So a story that has two people falling in love and then fucking like rabbits in less then a week is just...ugh, no!...though sometimes I will read a story like that IF it is good enough...
Another thing is that I don't particularly care about what gender is with who in a story, my view on that is, whatever floats the writers boat. I happen to like reading and writing all the different gender mix's along with how many you can put together to mix it up. Reading it is always interesting, I like seeing how others put them together. Writing them is always fun and at times can be challenging, but it's what makes it all the better when you do finish it.
Anyway, I'm not sure if I'll ever really post any of my stories on here as I don't really like other people reading what I write, but at the same time I want to know how well I do at writing. I mean I have friends who tell me I'm good and such, but I'm not sure if they just say that to make me feel good or what. But who knows? Time will tell.
