Change in Perspective: a Lily/James fanfic (Harry Potter). #CiP
James had a huge crush on her from the first time he saw her. Lily hated him more than anyone else in the world. Something changed one summer, and they fell in love after all.

Yes, it's a lot of fluff, but how else can their relationship actually develop? If things are constantly happening, there's no time for them to grow comfortable around each other and actually fall in love, and it becomes a relationship of convenience (or something similarly unimportant). It's remarkable that they do fall in love in such turbulent times in the wizarding world, and that is due in no small part to the safe environment at Hogwarts, where they have time to learn to love each other. I do promise that at some point there will be some crazy events to deal with, just not right away.

Because I feel like writing about the witch who pushes the sweets trolley. She's so under-appreciated, that poor woman. And in my opinion, it's quite obvious: that can't be the only thing she does with her life. Who is this mysterious witch? This was prompted by a contest, but I loved the opportunity to explore what Harry and Ginny must have been feeling right after the war. UPDATE: No longer a oneshot, this story has been continued. The File: a Study series fanfic #theFile
Valek documents everything relevant about Yelena from the day she arrives in the Commander's dungeons. His reports change over time, and relevant information becomes a more ambiguous term as he falls in love with the food taster.

I wanted to explore Valek's perspective of the stories, and thought this would provide a nice challenge rather than writing a simple narrative. He's had time to think over all the events before writing his report, so the most important things to Valek will become more obvious over time.
