Yoshiki had always loved Ayumi, but ultimately she left him for Mochida. He'd protected her from the blow that would have ended her life. Now as he lies dying, he thinks back on how their complicated relationship stands, as well as the regrets he holds. Maybe he wasn't meant for her after all...

((This scene takes place during the lightning storm from chapter 24 of The Scorch Trials, and is from Newt's POV, with added Minewt at the end.)) As Newt tries his best to reach the shelter in time, his limp grows worse and his worry for his life increases. He barely notices Minho missing until he spots Thomas dragging him to safety.

Yoshiki get's help from the class rep before final exams.

Soda had tears briming his eyes when he pulled out his switchblade. Darry wasn't paying attention but I noticed. I let out a small scream and all of a sudden, time stood still.

As Mori's mentioned, Honey is a grumpy riser. One morning Takashi learns just how grumpy his Mitskuni could get. - Basically, Honey get really mad at his companion and beats him really badly. Through it all, the man is ever loyal. Pure whump, just a little oneshot (unless anyone wants a follow-up chapter to see how they get through their day)

Another storm came through during the team's training camp. While the team was ok, the storm moved on to Iwatobi and devastated the town. The boys comes home to find that everything has changed - and change isn't always for the better. Lots of Makoto/Haru angst, but includes all characters. Hi there! Welcome! Um... this is a fanfiction about Miki Kishinuma... This is based on what happens in Blood Covered (Repeated Fear) with Miki just... kinda tossed in really. I wrote this for pleasure and I hope you enjoy!

Soda recognized the signs of what was about to happen just before it did. He realized that he really should have seen it coming the moment the guy walked in the store, but he just hadn't been paying enough attention and at this point he had no time to react. All of a sudden Soda was staring down the barrel of a handgun that was pointed directly at his face.

Soda remembered lights. Blinding lights. Confused he had quickly hit the brakes. It was out of instinct he had braced himself against the steering wheel. It wasn't until he heard the crunching of metal and the shattering of glass as he felt the truck pitch violently to the side that he really understood what was happening. [One-Shot]

Makoto's worse nightmare is seeing his best friend die in the ocean.

Honey and Mori are in a plane crash, and Honey does not survive. Mori's guilt and grief being to overwhelm him and he starts to fall apart. Haruhi tries to be there for him, even as he pushes her away. But she keeps trying, and he gradually begins to respond to her attempts to console him. Maybe, just maybe, she can save him from his pain. A bit of fluff at the end. Complete!

Sometimes traumatic events can cause a person to look life in a different perspective. The survivors of the Heavenly Host Elementary School are finding out that coping with loss isn't always easy and Yoshiki Kishinuma isn't exactly coping as well as his friends like to think he is. It's easy to get lost in a memory.

The Greasers all love going to the rodeo. Soda lives for an adrenaline rush. And when he starts riding saddle bronc in the rodeo one summer he certainly gets it. [Pre-Book One Shot]

"It's not a fight everyone can win, do you understand that? People get killed in these wars. People die," he said, trembling. "I just don't want that to be you! I don't want to have to get a letter in the mail saying that you're dead! I want you alive, Soda!" Ponyboy screamed. I turned to him, my last few words before I left. (Soda in Vietnam, please R&R. It's their worst nightmare. After working so hard to stay together, their family is suddenly torn apart again. Sodapop had just turned 18 when he had gotten his notice. He had been drafted to fight on the front lines of the Vietnam War. While he is gone, the rest of the gang is forced to try and live their lives unsure of whether they will ever see him again.

It's 1973. Operation Homecoming. The Vietnam War has finally ended and prisoners of war are finally coming home. It had been three and a half years since Pony and Darry received that awful letter that said Soda had gone missing in action after being drafted. And now the question will finally be answered.
