¡Hola! Me llamo Faye.
Konichiwa, watashi no namae wa Faye desu!
Anyeonghasaeyo, Fayelago habnida!
Hey, hi, Hello. Faye here.

I'm currently studying in Canada, and I hope to become an oncologist someday. Writing was something I did to pass time, but now it's become a major hobby, and sometimes I can't study because there are so many things I want to write.

I would like a Beta Reader, but I'm insecure of my writing skills, so I'd rather have the entire community help me out with small errors here and there. I've been on this site since 2009, although my old accounts and stories have been taken down by now.

My main genre is romance/adventure, but I'm trying to tackle a lot of mystery as well, although I'm not very good at it. I love long stories, and I'll very rarely write one-shots. I love writing FanFictions because I can always incorporate my own ideas into a setting already created for me, which is why every single story of mine has some form of OC's, unless I find the pairing to be perfect, or the bond between two characters are stronger than what I can ever hope to write about (mostly occurs in my Ghibli/Miyazaki FanFictions).

That being said, I am an OC writer, and I can be cruel enough to split yaoi characters as well. If you don't like this idea, you don't need to tell me! Just don't read it. I make my warnings fairly clear in my Author's Notes.

Writing in General:

Again, I'm an OCxCanon writer. I mostly write Romance/Adventure, and mystery if I'm up for a challenge. I love oneshots, but sometimes I feel the writer could expand more on the idea (I don't know the definition of 'short and sweet' obviously). Most stories will span well over 100,000 words or will have multiple sequels to them.

When I create an ending or solve the biggest mystery in the series, I try using evidence from the original story to do so. For an anime like One Piece, I have had an idea of what the treasure was since the beginning of the series. For something like Detective Conan, however, Anokata is very hard to pinpoint. When it comes to writing mystery, no one can be as clueless as I am. Either way, just be aware that my ending/resolution may be the very opposite of what you expected, so read with caution, and I apologize if something is anticlimactic or it is not the same as what you imagined it to be.

My romance tends to be extremely fluffy and cliche, up to the point where I cringe as well, but I enjoy writing a lot of fluff because I find it really adorable and hilarious at times. Please don't tell me my stories are cliche--I know already, and I have no obligations to change it!

Me, in General:

I'm a kendoka and a contrabass player--a weird mixture, but the perfect balance for me. I also enjoy reading, writing, snowboarding, basketball, listening to good music (but I have a super old-fashioned taste T_T), and I LOVE alpacas. I love vintage and feminine things, as well as collecting classical music sheets. My favourite piece is Bach's Cello Concerto No. 1, V: Minuet, but I also love Piazzola, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Pachelbel. Ironically enough, I actually don't like Bach but his cello concertos. Sue me. New World composers I really love are Yiruma and Joe Hisaishi.

I have a Korean background, and although I'm not a huge fan of Kpop (surprise, surprise)(I live right beside a concert arena as well), I love most YG artists.

I know this profile page so far has made me sound like some kind of angry 90 year old who doesn't know the meaning of fun, but it's only because I'm quite sensitive to haters. Oops. Again, I apologize if you do not like something or do not agree with my plot, but if you're not going to give out constructive criticism I'd rather you save your breath and not tell me anything T_T.

Now that that's done and over with...

Hey, hi, hello! My name is Faye. As you can maybe see from the top, I can understand 4 languages, speak 3.5 (my understanding for Japanese is good... my sentence structure when I speak on the other hand is bad), and read and write 3. I was born in the countryside of Daegu, South Korea, but I've been living in Canada since I was 4 years old. I love music, whether it be Kpop or Baroque, and I absolutely adore gaming, such as Pokemon, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario, League of Legends, and Fire Emblem.

Stories:

I update really slowly, and I apologize. Sometimes the beginning and the ending are so clear to me, but the plot development in the middle is not. I'm also an honourable distinctions student, so a lot of my time is taken up by studying, plus work, volunteer, kendo, and bass. All my stories revolve around central themes, and you can check out my list out below.
