Asta B - who is it?

Hi there :)
I'm 22-year-old Ukrainian from Finland (was born in Ukraine, moved to Finland when I was 2,5-years-old. My mum's mum was Finnish, that's why). Currently I am studying Tourism in University of Applied Sciences. I'm in my second year and I am looking forward for my exchange in Germany next January. Writing has always been part of my life, more or less. Even when I didn't write anything up on paper or word, I "wrote" stories in my head. I still do that, it's kinda my daily routine, a habbit that is kinda bad, really. Living more in my head than in RL. But oh well.

What do I write and why?

As most of people my age, I grew up with Harry Potter. I won't say I am this huuuuuuuge fan, I don't remember every spell, I read books only once, I don't even have books anymore, I gifted them to my cousin and all that. But I grew up with it. My parents used to read it to me, it was my first proper book I ever read by myself. My first stories were actually Harry-Hermione pairings. So, in other words, Harry Potter is big part of my life. And after I discovered Pottermore in April 2012, I joined because I was bored, not because I was huge fan. But I swear, I have never ever regretted joining that community, not for a single day. I joined the best house ever, the most loyal, the most amazing, the most hardworking house. Of course every house is good and worked hard, but Slytherin became united before everyone else. I met people that became my little Slytherin family, the most amazing people. Those people made me re-discover the world of Harry Potter and it's meaning in my life. If someone is interested, I was WolfOak6230 also knows as Asta "Mushroom Queen" Black-Prewett, proud daughter of Birdie Black and Nectar Prewett :P And because my last few years had been really magical, I have re-discovered my inspiration to write HP fics. Though now my preferences are in Next Gen and my favorite pairings are Lily Luna&Scorpius and my second favorite is James Sirius & OC (and she is ALWAYS Malfoy). As you can see, I really have this thing for Malfoy&Potter.

Another series I write about is Morganville Vampires. I discovered this series through High School. And again, I won't say I love the series, but honestly I don't easily fall in love with movies, tv series or books. I can like them, but not fall in love. As I started to read MV, I was inspired to write about it and I had few plots. That was back in 2010. There has been one fic that has still stuck with me and I am planning on continuing writing it, as soon as I'll have time an proper inspiration.
