Author has written 3 stories for Inheritance Cycle. Hey! My name’s Lisa Fox and as you can tell, this is my profile. There’s really not all that much to say. I’m pretty new to fanfiction. Therefore, if you happen to read anything I’ve written, please say exactly what you mean. I don’t understand most abbreviations. I like quite a few books. My favorite genre is fantasy, and I like historical fiction and science fiction as well. I’m not into realistic fiction. My philosophy is “why read about what can and is happening next door?” There’s no point to that for me. I know what it’s like. I don’t need to read a book about it. Don’t get me wrong- I love to read, just not realistic fiction. If non-fiction books are written as stories, I like those too. For example, I read Undaunted Courage for school, a fairly large book about Meriwether Lewis, and I didn’t really mind it that much. That brings me to my next part. I like history, mainly because it’s like a story. I don’t like English too well. In fact, I’m really amazed at myself for actually writing a fanfic. Usually, I don’t like to write. I guess it’s just what you’re writing that makes it fun or boring. I’m pretty good at math, although it’s not my favorite class by any means. I also am pretty good at science. I didn’t like biology too well, but that’s because I like the other types of sciences better. Of course there are other things I do besides go to school and write my story on fanfiction. I read a lot, I like to sleep, of course, and I’m also on a robotics team. I know, I’m a geek- and I’m proud of it. It’s actually really fun. I would encourage anyone who has even the remotest thought of being an engineer to check if there is a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition ofScience and Technology)or FIRST Lego League team around. I had and have a blast on these teams. Where else do you get out of school to go to places like Atlanta? It’s pretty cool. I'm also in band- I play the trombone. Marching band is fun, even though I'm sure hundreds of people completely disagree with me. I live in the absolutely awesome state of Michigan, where we drink pop, bake with soda, and know that there actually is a place called Kalamazoo. It’s not too far from Hell. Paradise is quite a bit further. (Just to let you know, Kalamazoo, Hell and Paradise are cities in Michigan, pop is soda, and soda is baking soda.) You can tell I really love Michigan. You should come and visit Michigan sometime. The Great Lakes are awesome, but just to let you know, Lake Superior is cold! About my fanfiction writings, as of right now, I only have one. It's an Eragon fanfic titled From the North to the South. Hopefully people like it. Please go read it and tell me how it is. If it absolutly stinks and you thing that I should be packed into a Delta Two rocket, launched, sent to Mars, get whiplash from the parchute opening, bounce around Mars like a bouncy ball in the lander and finally be unpacked like the rovers, by all means say so, although I would appriciate to know why I stink. (The process I explained is how the two rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, landed on Mars. Like I said, I'm a geek.) I know that my bio sounds like I'm a pretty open person. However, I really don't talk to many people. The worst thing ever, (besides calling someone on the telephone) is asking people for money. Right now I know you're thinking that I'm insane. However,my church youth group does a lot of fundraisers. One is called the 30 hour famine. You go 30 hours without food in order to raise money for world hunger. It's nation wide. You should see if a group around your house does it. Truely, going 30 hours without food is not bad at all- and I eat quite a bit. But you have to think. You're going without food for 30 hours. People all over go without food for longer then that, and they never know when they're going to get their next meal. Just to warn you, you have to be at least 12 to participate. If you can, I would suggest that everyone does that fundraiser. After all, you could save someone's life. |
