Found this site March 2013 just looking for NCIS the Series related stories, and after just a bit I ended up becoming a GAbby fan from it do to a few of the writers on here, some of whom I have become friends with. I really did not see Gibbs and Abby in that way or even in the father/daughter way as well because their ages on the show is only about a 12 to 15 years difference. They have been friends since day one when they meet somewhere *probably around 1997-98. With the quot "tighter than blood" from Abby, I saw them as true friends in the form of "Soul Mates" as in persons suited in temperament, attitude, disposition, point of view, those who have an affinity to take care of one another, who know when something is up with the other one, the only person who truly knows you, sometimes more then you know yourself, from a much deeper level then those of husband/wife, lovers, or child/parent! There fun flirting of the early yeas of the show only showed that they were close and could have fun together.

Myself, I am an avid reader mostly Historical Fact Fiction, Biographies, Crime True Fiction, Thrillers, Science Fiction and Fantasy (mostly Dark Fantasy), Military and Espionage, and Science(for which is my love and what I hold my degrees in). These are also what I like when it comes to movies and TV, along with comedies and from time to time something romantic.

I also, write poetry, short and long stories (Historical, Military, Crime and SciFi). Part of my education and main form of writing is in the Technical and Scientific field along with Grant writing and proofing. I have also been published in several Science Periodicals on multiple topics from the Extinction of the African Elephant, Wolf communal behavior and Raptor recovery from traumatic injury.

I am a hopeless romantic because I have not been successful at it in my own life so I indulge in it from time to time in my reading, TV and movies, hey if I'm gonna cry why do it the dark alone when you can do it at the movies in the dark, or do it while reading something someone else has done instead of doing about your own life.

When it comes to TV well through the years lots of shows, currently NCIS, Original CSI CSI:Cyber, Chicago Fire, Warehouse 13, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Touch, Grimm, Body of Proof, FlashPiont, Longmire, Bones, Dr. Who, Falling Skies, Arrow, Fringe, Emergency, 240 Roberts, Hart to Hart, Police Story, Love Boat, The Glades, Revolution, every incarnation of Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, Haven, BBC version Being Human(along with a list of BBC series and movies), JAG, West Wing, Firefly, Farscape, Sanctuary, Torchwood, Babylon 5, pretty much any SciFi, Crime Drama, Firefighter/Police related show going back to the 60's, also lots of shows on the Science, Military and History channel.

When it comes to Movies it is to hard to pick any specific one because there are so many that are great. I am such a buff that my taste goes back to even some of the Silent Era.

I've been the fan of many Actors/Actresses from around the world, however, I'm not a person who over obsesses and lives my life all about that person or any of their characters. My hero's are real people who actually do great things in this world! Now I have also been a fan of Mark Harmon going back to his very first appearance on Adam 12 and have watched him in probably everything since then, I own a lot of his work on VHS for which I am working to replace with DVD, problem is a lot of his work has not been released on DVD. I am also a big fan of British actor Bob Peck who spent most of his time on stage but I saw him in a SciFi movie called Slipstream and then a few years later he was in Jurassic Park. Back then the internet was not user friendly so it was a lot of library work and ordering at video stores to collect what I could of his movies(VHS) as with Mark Harmon I an slowly replacing with DVD, however, since most of his work was BBC it is hard to find here in the US.

*If your here because you love to write then write for yourself and no one else, reviews are not a popularity contest, don't rely on someones praise from reviews to keep you going with a story because later on someone who was not here when you first started might want to read the WHOLE THING NOW!

(I know, I know I'm behind on my own stories but I am suffering from really bad writers block, like I have not been able get anything at all to come to me!)

*Also, can you try and please remember your own writing details, nothing more confusing then reading something then a few paragraph or chapters later you have forgotten and changed that detail to something totally different, example a date, age, location name, etc...

*You know when writing anything technical or even just basic information that you don't know anything about try to be a little accurate and check your info out. Since your on the internet already it is not hard to go and look things up to try to make sure you get it right. If you don't know about weapons, medical equipment and terms, forensic equipment and terms, dates and times, also when it comes to traveling time between location, states and countries (Remember Time Zones!) - - - JUST LOOK IT UP!!!
