-I've never had the opportunity to watch Wicked live and that is on my bucket list, along with getting the DVD of the original cast performance as soon as it comes out.

-I'm a novice writer whose mother tongue isn't English so I really need your advice, please generously leave comments, thank you.

-I just posted my first fic ever here, it's called "No Other Way Out", a possibly multi-chapter Fiyeraba about them leaving Oz and going to a new world. It's on hiatus now but I hope to resume writing it as soon as I can, possibly February if I'm lucky.

-My newest obsession is Emily Prentiss from Criminal Minds. You can see from my favorite stories that I've read a lot of FFs about her. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there doesn't seem to be many people who like both CM and Wicked. Perhaps there's a gap between their features? CM a bit too violent for Wicked fans? But part of Wicked's charm is that it's so much more dark and twisted than Wizard of Oz! I think I'm rambling.

-I changed my pen name from "Elpharose" to "Aelphrose" because I want to have a more CM connection in my pen name and still not lose the Wicked touch. Elphaba was named after St. Aelphaba in the book so that's the Wicked reference. Adding the A though is sort of referring to "Alpha"s in profiling.

-Another thing is that I've found that Emily and Elphaba actually has a lot in common. They are both brunettes who can be considered tall, not classically beautiful yet stunning (especially with that raven midnight silky super pretty hair!!). Highly intelligent, brave and stubborn(which seems to be sort of a compliment nowadays I think). The biggest difference is that in most fics, Emily has hidden feelings for others but Elphaba is more open about how she feels. Gelphie and Fiyeraba are often much more straight forward than Jemily or H/P. Jemily and H/P are more often marked "eventually" but their Wicked counterparts are usually "established". It depends though, but that's the conclusion I've come to after reading my share of all these fics. (Of course, it probably has something to do with the fact that romantic relationships among colleges (let alone FBI with all the fraternization policies) are frowned upon much more often than those among classmates/roommates.) Also, there is more fighting and shooting and abductions when Emily's involved, considering what she does for a living: however, believe it or not, Elphie fics can get really "actiony", violent and dangerous too, after all, she is a wanted fugitive whom the entire Oz is after.
