What if Astrid managed to reach the village after fleeing the cove to expose Hiccup's secret? How will Hiccup and Toothless leave for their "little vacation"? This is the coming-of-age story of a boy and a dragon, the story of their flight into exile, their struggle for survival, and their quest for a place to finally call home. Will they find it? Toothless is wounded in a storm long before the events of the movie and a young Hiccup stumbles upon him in the cove off Raven's Point. They quickly bond, learning to trust each other and becoming fast friends. AU

If it's big, dangerous, vicious, has razor-sharp teeth, claws made for shredding, can breath fire (or worse), or otherwise a guaranteed machine of death, you should touch it. Most alter into a Common, like ogres or trolls; others form into the more rare species, Gems, like hellhounds and phoenixes. But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of the greatest hellhound, has a tiny dilemma; he Transforms into a dragon.

HTTYD vikings and dragons watch the first movie. A rewrite of my initial fanfiction like this, only with (hopefully) better characterisation, plot and grammar. So, what happens if you kidnap an entire village of vikings and dragons and force them to watch a movie about Hiccup befriending Toothless? Only time will tell. Just like her Deadly Nadder, Astrid is sometimes blind to what's right in front of her. Five times Astrid misses the obvious and the one time it's painfully clear to her.

The isle of Berk is under attack from some rather infamous foreigners. However, if they think they can waltz off with Berk herself with the flick of a gladius, they are in for a rather nasty surprise. If the chief and the alpha have anything to say about it, they'll be turning their Latin-bred tails between their legs before they set foot on the beach. Oneshot.
