Author has written 7 stories for Mass Effect, Walking Dead, and Suicide Squad. Update: I want to apologise to all of my followers for my long absence over the past few months. So much has been going on in my life: I lost my dad, found out I was pregnant, and signed a contract to have my first book in a trilogy I am writing published! Things have been so busy that I haven’t found time to update my most recent story on here, and I’m truly sorry about that. I will strive to do better! If, on a side note, anyone out there is interested in a YA zombie novel with a bit of a twist, please feel free to visit My book is now available for free download on Amazon, and if you like my stories on here/my style, then it might be something you enjoy. No pressure though, and I promise I will be back here as soon as I can! A bit of info about me: writing is something that I find incredibly enjoyable. I've always had a very active imagination, and I just love bringing these characters and stories to life. Writing fanfic has become a really big part of my life. I love to see that people are reading my stories, and when people are kind enough to leave reviews, it literally makes my day 100x better! My big passion, alongside writing, is video games, and my first Fanfic 'Falling for Garrus' was based on my favourite game: Mass Effect. I got some great feedback from that, and even more from the sequel, which was amazing (the response I mean, I'm not saying my writing is amazing!). That's where my screen name comes from - the protagonist from Mass Effect. My biggest story has been 'Crazy in Love', based roughly on the Harley and Joker we saw in 'Suicide Squad'. I'd always had a thing for Joker, even before the movie, because there's something about dangerous, impulsive men that always seemed so fascinating. I've loved the Joker's sense of humour in the comics, movies, and video games, but the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the way he treated Harley. I decided that if I was going to write a Joker/Harley fanfic, it would be one where he may still be the dominant one in the relationship, but is actually in love with her. He might hate it, that he has a weakness, but it's there, and it forces him to become someone a little different. Still crazy, still funny, still dangerous, but different. I thought no one else would enjoy it, particularly based on the reviews for 'Suicide Squad', where so many people hated the portrayal of the Harley/Joker relationship (I loved it of course), but I was completely wrong, and it seemed that other people wanted to see that kind of fic too. It was fantastic to get ideas for new chapters and such lovely feedback, and although I planned the story to be standalone, the wonderful comments from the lovely people on this site inspired me to write a sequel, which I'm currently working on! Anyway, I'm sorry that was so rambling. I promise my stories have more structure than this! I hope you enjoy my writing. I try to make them interesting, fresh, and a little bit funny (if you like my type of slightly silly humour anyway!). Please message me or leave reviews if you like what you read (and if you have time of course!), because it really means so much for me, and inspires me to write more. Happy reading :) Mel |
