Begins sometime after Lucifer starts to admit his feelings for Chloe, but before she can admit any feelings towards him. Lots of fluff and a fair amount of smut coming up, because I think we all need a break from sadness.

What if Lucifer didn't stand Chloe up at the restaurant? Sometimes you only need to change one thing to cause an entire ripple effect. Not even Lucifer himself could have predicted just how much things would change the moment he sat down at that dinner table.

Blood is coming out of Chloe's nose, and she has no idea why. Lucifer wants to help but doesn't know how. For once in his life, the Devil is powerless.

When Trixie gets a part in a play at a theatre, Chloe can't wait to go see her daughter. However, she does not want to go alone, and face all the judging parents so who does she ask? Nobody but the devil himself. Lucifer.

"Un-uh... Everybody else is too busy. Please, Lucifer?" That did it! Lucifer groaned and face palmed, trying with all his might to fight against the answer that wanted to slip out, but it did anyway. "Alright... alright, spawn. I'll bring you to the rides tomorrow."

Title says it all. With nowhere else to turn to, Lucifer always finds his way back to the detective's doorstep. COMPLETE!

Chloe is angry that she allowed herself to think that Lucifer had changed and instead stood her up after asking her out to dinner. She decides to pay him a visit to get some answers.

Every time she caught a case, she called him and hoped he'd finally pick up and come to help her, but it always went to voicemail. In fact, his voicemail came on so quickly that Chloe knew he was not just letting the phone ring. He was sending it to voicemail.

Lucifer comforts Trixie during a rainstorm. Future fic.

In retrospect, it happens so quickly, all Chloe can do is stand there and stare - Or the one in which Charlotte comes after Chloe, which doesn't sit well at all with Lucifer...
