Author has written 2 stories for Sherlock. I found myself at a loss at the beginning of this year. I had managed to give up fanfiction for approximately 28 days. After this time, I realized the inevitability that at this point in my life I cannot fathom having time to create my own characters for a story. Instead, I shall be manipulating the creations of others for my own pleasure in different stories and situations. As an overall disclaimer, I do not own or profit from any of the stories I create from television shows, movies, books, and etc. The only thing I own is the situations I imagine the characters to be in, and even that may be taken partially from its original location. In an attempt to remove myself from this addiction that is fanfiction, I deleted the e-mail and password to my previous account, making it something I no longer have a clue what it is. Obviously, the attempts of cleansing myself from here was utterly fruitless. With that, I recreated a profile to get rid of the clutter within my folders on my computer that I have written in attempts to dislodge my mind from the fantasies I create with the characters. Basically, this is to become my garbage bin of ideas that I need to get off of my memory. I have no plans or promises to go anywhere with any of them, and this is to be my author's note for every single one. I am weak enough as to need a creative outlet, but I this is not my main priority. That being said, I appreciate any feedback and disregard any mundane attempts for communication or adoption of any ideas. While I cannot stop any actions to steal any ideas I post, I will not give my permission after previous experiences with people on this site stealing my ideas. Frankly, I find this appalling as no one receives any profit from writing these, so why thieve upon other people's labor? Is it the praise or admiration that is being sought? Obviously, I still find myself bitter and will stop my tirad before it becomes any longer. If it states that the ideas are free to twist to your own, you may take. If it does not, do not ask. I sincerely thank you for your time. |
