When Lucy's mom dies her father basically disowns her so she ran away but only to get lost. When she's on the verge of starving to death she is found by another 6 year old ice mage. Lucy was taken back to the 6 year old's home which contains two dragons. Soon enough she becomes the celestial dragon slayer & she becomes best friends with the other dragon slayer that found her.
