Hello! I read a lot of fanfiction. When I can I review it too, especially if it's something I am passionate about. I'm usually very blunt on reviews, but I never insult the authors. I can say that a plot twist is stupid, but not that the author is stupid for writing it, and I don't think it either. I am always up to chat if you want further explanation to a 'bad review' so feel free to send me a message. Likes Well done summaries (it doesn't have to be 'poetry-good' if the summary is full of mistakes I won't open the story). Well done characters: coherent with their world and the original character. They must be interesting if they are OC. Interesting plots. I like when people give their spin to an already made story. Authors up for confrontation. If write online you have to accept that I or others can review your story negatively. If you write 'sensitive topics' (suicide, abuse, rape etc.) for kicks or 'to experiment' or because think more people will read your story you have to accept that people might not like how you portray that topic. If you can only insult people that review the story negatively maybe you shouldn't write online.Dislikes Lots and lots of grammar mistakes. Correct your story before you post, it's not respectful to expect me to 'translate' from bad grammar. Completely changed character and bashing. People that write 'sensitive topics' only to look 'cool'. People that suddenly throw out diseases when you give a negative review to make you feel bad to not have said it's a wonderful story. |
