My name is Rachael, and I've been writing fanfiction for the past two and a half years (It's so weird to see all the time that's passed! Some of my earlier works were done before I was out of middle school). I started off writing ONLY OTH ff, which was my major fandom, and then I got into the O.C. and started looking into the book section of ff.net... and thus, the rest is history.

Eventually, this account wouldn't let me review stories for a supernaturally long period of time. I created a new account, Tears_of_Mercury, at first solely for the purpose of reviewing. But then I was introduced to Degrassi and started posting a multi-chapter Eman fanfic and various one-shots. I even have an LP drabble on that account, and will probably continue posting all of my new stuff on that account, since I feel that my style has changed so drastically over the past two years.

As for my old stuff...

The only story that I've ever actually finished is Mommy Never Let Me Play. It's hopelessly out-of-date, and I don't even have the heart to look back over it and cringe at what I know must be awful plots, characterization, and mechanics. However, it still holds a very big part of my heart because it was the first fanfiction that I ever wrote. Eventually I'll get around to revising Saving Grace Doesn't Have to Be Complicated (and hopefully I'll come up with a new title! That one sounds like a lifetime movie!), although I've decided to leave it up for now and only repost it when I'm done with the revisions. It Still Feels Like Home and It Takes a Little Time have been taken down. I may eventually edit/re-write them, I may not. All of the chapters are tucked away in folders on my computer. I just didn't want a lot of craptastic work on my account. Are You Coming or Going? Will most likely be up again. I just got tired of keeping it hanging there when updating it wasn't even in my mind. Whenever I get the inspiration to update, I'll go back and "fix" a few crucial elements of the story and then repost it.

I've kept all of my one-shots up -- some seem better than others. Roughly half of them are UC OTH couples, so anyone from Just Believe should like it. As for my OC fics -- there isn't really any chance that I'll update them. I've pretty much given up on any fics including Marissa since her -bawls eyes out- death.
