My name is somehow always mispronounced so I prefer to go by Mel. I was brought here by the lovely LunaAzul829. I'm working on a book currently but thought I'd start a profile here for my free time. I have a FictionPress account too, same user name. The things I write aren't master pieces but they aren't terrible.

I prefer to stay out of the lime light and I mostly keep to myself. I see writing as a way to escape from reality, it relieves stress and I can create whatever I please. It brings me a joy that nothing else possibly can. To imagine a life without a pen and paper or music would be a personal hell for me; it's one, if not the only, way that I can express myself.

(P.S. Sorry if I make a lot of grammar mistakes. I didn't get into writing until the seventh grade and flunked all my previous English classes.)
