![]() Author has written 6 stories for My Little Pony. Who am I? Well as for who I am I guess I would say I’m a regular person who really enjoys writing and always has to an extent. When I was younger I can remember writing crappy fan fics based off of Resident evil when I got to board in class. I still have some of my old work and looking back at it I honestly laugh at what I thought was good, my upbringing left something to be desired. You could say my family was never really there much for me and nothing over the years changed that, I dropped out of school at 16 after being forced through the grades (I never did a lick of work past grade 5, that’s wright made it to 10th on straight F’s) and move out. I got a job and never looked back; I have never been too social in person so working with the general public only lasted for a few years until I could not take it anymore. I’ll spare you the details but needless to say when I have enough of something I don’t return to it, so after finding a life that worked for me and allowed me to continue living the way I wished I picked up some old hobbies, writing being one of them. I got into RP and that is when I started to learn, without that my skills would be far below what you see today. My Little Pony. I ended up getting into My Little Pony during the second season and left it shortly after the wonderbolts academy episode. I do keep up on key points of the show and incorporate them into my writing if they properly fit in my head canon (so far I have not seen one that will cause me to have to leave it out.) One big thing you might notice if you read my stories is the age difference between what most fans believe most of the ponies ages to be an my view on the ponies age. For instance the mane 6 in my world are in their mid-twenties. (human years and yes I use human lifespan as well.) While a pony like Spitfire in Cielo’s adult life is in her forties. I liked the show and I liked the characters but when I write I tend to lean more towards personally how I portray them over how they are actually portrayed in the show but given they are much older in my world than in the actual show the changes made are really not so far-fetched. Looking back at how I was introduced to the show (through an RP interest) and how watching it has affected my life creatively I think MLP will always hold a special place in my life weather I watch it again or not. Cielo Rey (Flightless) Looking over Cielo’s bio it needs to be updated, I’ve had it since his creation back in 2011 and a lot had changed since then. His bio was originally made for RP’s only but having delved more into his past and really flushed out who Cielo is it’s not really necessary to keep the bio up on here. If you looked at his bio and compared it to him now in the stories you would notice a few differences, such as the time he spent in ponyville not adding up or his relationship with spitfire. Ya let’s use Spitfire right now as an example, in the story it’s stated that Cielo left home after he said some rather harsh things to Spitfire due to him feeling she was not backing his decision to help others by clearing highly dangerous storms. In his current bio it states Cielo went back and trained with the wonderbolts for a year AFTER Celestia formed the EWC. Why the changes you might ask? Simple, the newer version seen in the story was not only far more entertaining but it worked better for flushing out Cielo’s true essence. He was always seen as such a good stallion always doing the right thing but you never saw any mistakes he made. This to me was a flaw in his design; no one is perfect in the real world so I had to work his back story to fit a more realistic version of him. Not sure if it was the best move or not but I feel much better about what I have now than what I did have, it’s been a journey seeing Cielo grow over his lifetime and it will continue to be so for as long as I can keep it up. |
