Steven knew the Gems were hiding their feelings about him. When he did find out... he wished he hadn't. WARNING: This story contains some dark themes.

Steven rolled into a ball on the ground and began to sob. He felt destroyed. His entire world was crashing down around him, and it was his mom's fault. [Steven is having horribly realistic dreams and his gem starts acting up. Little does he know, these seemingly meaningless occurrences add up to a DEADLY truth].

Blue Pearl wasn't always this way. She took her orders and she didn't question the life she was supposed to have. Not even her fate when she broke the very rule that is unforgivable. Now here she is. Free from her oppressors, but she is still trapped in a prison she foraged on her own.

Three years. They missed three years of Steven's life. And he blames them for every second wasted. They may be back, but their Steven is gone. How could they apologize? A magical item sends Steven in a parallel world, where his mother still exist. It's a perfect world for him, but he can't stay there forever and the price for the time with his mother is high...

A accident happens that leaves Steven hurt. When he heals though there is some more lasting damage.

Steven's life in Beach City was the best he could have hoped for - until he discovered the dark secret behind it all, the one the Gems had been hiding from him his whole life. Now he and the Gems have to fight to get back to that idyllic life, and it's harder than anything they've ever done before. Warning: may change the way you see Steven Universe forever.
