Written for a prompt on the Star Trek XI Kink Meme on LJ. Spock and Kirk are trapped while on an away mission and wake up younger than normal. Kirk is a nearly silent little boy and Spock isn't quite sure what to do with him.

There had to be more fallout between Kirk and Spock in the wake of Amok Time than we ever saw on screen. After all, one isn't almost strangled to death – or almost strangles someone to death – without repercussions, right? What happened later, when each had time to really think about what had transpired? Each would have their own hurdles and emotional baggage to overcome.

Spock was nearly forced by the Platonians to be an instrument of harm to his captain. Soon after, Spock thought the captain was dead, trapped between dimensions as the Tholians closed in on the Enterprise, because of Spock's error. These events aren't as easy to get over as Spock pretends, but he should have known he couldn't hide from his captain.

It was 19.3 months into the mission when Spock couldn't hide any longer that he and his father were not speaking.

The first time was involuntary, I am certain. He did not walk toward me so much as fall against me, body crumpling in a graceful arch. I remained still, unsure of how to proceed. "You're alive" he breathed, so softly that only I could have heard him.

During a slow day aboard the Enterprise, Jim decides that Spock just needs to relax. Warning: Fluff and K/S slash.

K/S. T'Pau found out that Jim didn't actually die on the sands of Vulcan during Spock's Pon Farr. And now she wants a rematch.

Jim and Spock are in a relationship, but what does Bones really think of it? Just a little drabble about Spirk through Bones’s eyes or rather ears.
