Trafalgar Law, a young man imprisoned in a hospital due to his illness came to a decision to end it all. Little did he know a certain drunkard would interfere with his plan and that their brief encounter is the beginning of a change. But is it for the better or for the worse, Law did not know.

He had to hurry or he was going to- he didn't know what. Scream, throw things, attack Law, or – worse than all – break down and cry. He couldn't handle the humiliation of crying in front of the Alpha. He'd rather die. Law was sitting up, frowning, but Kid couldn't bring himself to look at him. If he was disgusted with himself, what did Law think?

Law was too busy trying to imagine what 'long time ago' meant and exactly what horrible thing said 'bad' Alpha had done to his friend to keep up a conversation.  He would have three years to imagine all sorts of gruesome things before Kid ever let him broach the subject again. None of which came even close to the truth.
