Moriarty's back and, with his return, comes danger to those closest to Sherlock Holmes. This time, that includes Molly Hooper. Sherlock proposes allowing Mycroft to secret Molly away until the danger has passed. Molly, however, has a better plan. This ends up as the catalyst which permanently changes the relationship between Molly and Sherlock. But is this a change for the better?

Accepting being in love was no easy task for Molly considering she thought she moved on but she was caught in his orbit like the planets in space;no one lived up to her detective. For as cold as he was, he was also warmth and security. He sheltered her in his own way even while he twisted the knife of death into her. Funny thing was, they were each other's shelter without knowing

Perhaps this was why Molly worked with the dead: she didn't have to see the sadness in their eyes. (TRF scene/character study)

SPOILERS FOR HIS LAST VOW: Now that her engagement is over, Sherlock wishes to indulge in his long-held desire to pursue Molly Hooper. But recent developments- such as his revived drug habit and gunshot wound- makes the process difficult.

When Sherlock said, "Now if you'll excuse me, I've left my riding crop in the mortuary," he knew perfectly well he'd left it there. Now Molly has a little itch to scracth...and Sherlock is happy to help her scratch it.

This takes place somewhere in the realm of season 3 after Molly's engagement is over. Its my version of how Sherlock and Molly slowly move into a relationship stronger than that of friendship. [Follow-up to 'Frustration] The last remaining bastion of logic and sensibility in his brain is telling him to reconsider, reminding him that he doesn't 'do' this type of thing (has never actually done this type of thing), but God does he want her (more than he would ever care to admit, even to her) - Molly returns the favour.

Molly can't sleep. He's been in her flat for 559 hours, day in and day out. It's unbelievably frustrating to have him like this in her life, to see him but unable to touch him; to hear him, and yet be unable to caress him; to smell him, and remain unable to taste him. - Molly's got a lot of frustration to work through. Sherlock, being Sherlock, comes up with his own way to help.

"Sherlock..." she murmured, "you were right." "I know," he replied. Then he paused. "About what?" Molly smiled at him sleepily. "I will definitely need to reheat my tea..." A lovely angst-free one-shot. 'Tact', in this case, proves to be far over-rated.
