![]() Author has written 6 stories for Supernatural, and NCIS. I am a mother, wife, and homemaker. Shows I watch: Supernatural, House, NCIS, Burn Notice, Psych, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Big Bang Theory, Vampire Diaries...etc. I have been a fan fiction reader for many years and until recently never had any desire to write/publish. Supernatural changed that for me because the characters are so fun to play with :) Favorite quote: "There is nothing in this universe I can control, except myself" author unknown The writing bug has latched onto me and dug in deep. I find myself hooked on the creative process of planning then executing a story. Some pieces just flow quickly and get typed out without much fuss. Other stories start as a tiny little bit of nothing, has to be thought about, outlined and then the whole plot will be ready to painstakingly typed into Works with liberal use of the delete and backspace keys. One would think writing the pain-in-the-ass plots would not be worth it, but I have found that both have their appeal. A side note: I used to sneer at the writers who beg for reviews. Things like "reviews are like crack" would be a joke to me as a reader and total lurker. I used to lurk, read and move on to the next read. As a new writer...I now understand why reviews are like drugs. Knowing you have had a few hundred reads/hits does not give the same feeling as one person taking the time to give their thoughts. So to both types of readers out there clicking on my pieces. Thank you. I understand the lurkers, I used to be in the shadows with you, quietly reading and enjoying. To the reviewers: Reviews are seriously like crack--totally addicting. They make me smile broad enough to freak out my brats (which is just an added bonus). I truly appreciate the time you spend reading and reviewing my work. |
