AU:Ana is taken out of a world full of abuse. When Grace takes her in, she slowly but surly falls for Christian Grey. But with her thoughts only being expressed by pen and paper it's hard to form any real relationship with him and she wishes more than anything that she could find her voice. Ana is back in Seattle after spending three years with her mother. She wants to be a publisher, but first she needs to get back on track and she needs a job for living before that. Christian wants to deny it, but he needs a nanny for his daughter. What seems impossible at first, turns out to be the best thing that's ever happened with them.

Christian needs a nanny for his daughter, Ana applies for the job. She falls in love with Gracie, but doesn't get a long with Christian. He seems to be trying to control her, but will his control issues break her. They do not get along at all, but will they learn they have more in common than what they thought. Can they overcome their issues for Gracie or will it destroy them.

Christian knows full well what it is like to be abused as a young child. So when he meets young Lydia all he wants to do is protect her from her violent world. But as she grows up, will her past catch up to her whilst she's under the care of the Greys?

Anastasia has a different back story. She applies for a housekeeping job in Christian Greys Escala penthouse while Ms. Jones is on temporary leave to make ends meet. He has an active submissive but will sweet Anastasia Dominate his Megalomaniac heart? This part is in Christian's POV. No copyright intended. What if, instead of leaving when he finds out she's pregnant, Christian makes Ana leave... What would it take for Christian to take her back? His love, the baby, or maybe Jack Hyde?

The Books are told from Ana's POV. But Shades of Fifty is told from Christian's. It begins after his visit to Claytons, picking up where E.L. James left her Shades of Christian at the end of Fifty Shades Freed. It follows the storyline of the books and much of the dialogue and email will remain very similar to keep the integrity of the plot! I claim no rights to CG/AS/dialogue.

When Ana goes to Seattle Prep- with her best friend Kate- she meets a man who is domineering, juvenile, yet deeply troubled. Christian Grey. Before he was the fifty- we all know and love- he needed an escape from his past, originally he finds Elena. But after meeting his True life love will his path change for the better?
