AU after the curse breaks. Regina leaves after two years of being ignored and ridiculed by the town. Years later Regina wants to adopt again. When she meets Emory, a sweet and reserved girl, she falls in love. The only thing is, Emory suffers from terrible migraines. While Regina tries to help Emory, things are going on in Storybrooke that will drag her bag to protect her family.

The Neverland adventures are over. Emma, Henry and everyone else returned to Storybrook. Except for Regina. The Lost Boys want a mother and Regina knows she has lost Henry to his birth parents. Set after what I imagine will happen in Season 3.

Winter in Maine - cold, harsh, and unforgiving. Regina has lost her son to the family of her worst enemy. On a dark winter night, she makes the choice to lose herself to the outside world.
