Not much else to say at the moment. It's just that I write fan fiction to relieve myself of the hangover I get for indulging in the originals. It happens a lot, right?

February 1, 2018: I've been wading into RWBY recently though I hope not to get sucked in. I still have fics in other fandoms to finish and I really want to finish them. Here's hoping I'd be able to continue Horsemen of the Apocalypse and The Tonic Peddler.

Some friendly advice for college students and those who are working on some important paperwork involving heavy research (theses, dissertations, research papers, etc.): DO NOT CRAM ON THE DAY BEFORE. Expect migraines, body pain, and the feeling of being mugged by an angry mob.

PRIORITISED:

Vivat Imperatrix (RWBY) - Ruby Rose knew the day would come when she would have to lead her people. That did not mean she liked it or that she even wanted it. But barring politics, diplomacy, conspiracy, and a potential suitor, she was already here and she was going to do her job. She just wished people would stop calling her 'Your Majesty' every time she showed her face.

Dry County (RWBY) - The untamed West was a frontier of adventure, wealth, and danger. For these immigrants, however, it was a whole new world filled with hardship, carrying challenges that would test their bonds and shear off their facades to reveal the true person underneath.

French migrant Jaune Arc, Greek showgirl Pyrrha Nikos, Chinese laborer Lie Ren, and Norwegian stowaway Nora Valkyrie would have to cast away their own shackles and work together to stay alive. Brought together in the small mining town of Beacon in Vale County, these four would have to face a string of robberies by the notorious English gentleman Roman Torchwick; an uprising of abused laborers against the Schnee Trading Company; run-ins with outlaws, bounty hunters, and Pinkerton detectives; and an elaborate conspiracy threatening to trigger another deadly county war.

The West is sure as hell a whole new world.

Pit Stop (RWBY - Fallout) - The Courier just wants a break from babysitting four teenaged girls who clearly do not belong in the Wasteland.

Itch (RWBY) - Jaune was starting to question the logic behind coeducational lodging.

Thespians (RWBY) - Jaune and Ren get roped into a film project that has nothing to do with anything academic.

Cleaners (RWBY) - It was a simple arrangement. Anything Glynda couldn't fix with her Semblance would be left to the Cleaners. And while they operated away from the attention of pesky students, Glynda knew it would only be a matter of time before someone would start asking questions again. Unfortunately, it happened to be team RWBY.

The Morning After Usually Sucks (RWBY) - Ozpin starts off his day as headmaster knowing that the previous night, his students hosted quite a party. He let them have their fun. A little too much fun, however.

How Long Has It Been? (RWBY) - Beacon is reclaimed several years after it fell. Now Jaune Arc and Ruby Rose contemplate warmer memories they shared when they were still students here, straining to find a little comfort in the past knowing how jaded they are in the present. [Future AU]

Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Gate - Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri) - Pina never thought she would be in a position to bargain for her people's survival. But after the Empire provoked a more agile, more versatile, and more brutal enemy from beyond the Gate, she found herself reasoning with these riders whose horses were faster, whose arrows could blot out the sun, and who carried sticks that breathed dragon's fire.

The Tonic Peddler (Fairy Tail) - A (shady) merchant selling unique "miracle-working" tonics has set up shop for a week outside Magnolia. Now who would fall for that? Fairy Tail, of course. And a few others. It does not end well.

Relic of a Forgotten Era (Fairy Tail - Skyrim) - Chance encounters, plausible scenarios, and isolated engagements between certain individuals and the person who had once been revered long, long ago as the Last Dragonborn. [a series of one-shots]

Remnant is overrun by evolved Grimm, leaving humans and faunus straining to survive. Can both teams mend the future or choose to return to the past to change it?

Acolytes (Fairy Tail - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim): Zeref makes a deal with Hermaeous Mora over forbidden knowledge, in the process inadvertently summoning the Last Dragonborn from the depths of Apocrypha.

For RWBY fanfic readers, I recommend RWBY AU - Inquisitions Officer by chbedok1. I think that a work like that needs more attention because it has an interesting AU plot and a nice protagonist with a cheeky narrative. Shameless plug, I know. :D
