Greetings! I do know it's been a ridiculously long time. Almost five years since my last update... Again! But don't worry I haven't abandoned any of my stories. I do intend to finish them and I have been working on them, I promise! Here's the thing: I'm sure that everyone is annoyed to get sporadic updates so here's my plan. I am going to finish drafting the rest of the story and then I'll update each chapter regularly until it's done. That is my hope for the near future.

Well I thought I'd provide a little update on what's going on... I am still working on the next chapter for A Strange Fate... It's coming along, albeit much slower than I would like. I've been spending a lot of time on livejournal, I just got one not too long ago. I'm under 11am_street over there. Why, you ask? I don't know, I just felt like it. Anyways, here's the link if you're interested (or even if you're not - haha) . See? That's me. I'm hoping to be posting really soon, but it's March madness now and I'm going slowly nuts (no pun intented... or maybe it was, I can never tell).

Greetings! Indeed I have posted a new chapter for A Strange Fate and that story is on hold until December since I am participating in NaNoWroMo this year.

Now, I have a quick note about Elves in Space:

DO NOT READ THIS STORY! Yes, I really am encouraging to stay away from this story. Why? Because I have taken the time to print and actually *read* this fic, something I haven't done in well 5 years and I've discovered a few things. Firstly, it's awful! Really, it is. So I took the time to review the entire thing and I have changes that are pervasive throughout the entire story. Secondly, I now have much more knowledge about Star Trek and science in general (thank you Stargate and Wikipedia!) than I had when I started this fic back in 2002, so I think it would embellish the story and make the plot more realistic.

So here's the plan, I am currently writing the sequel, Broken Timeline, I've had a lot of requests for it and it's my current NaNoWriMo project for November. I'm going to completely revise this story, from major plotlines to characterization to the title. Yes, it's changing; it will be called "Time Undone". Then I'm going to start posting it by replacing the chapters. I'll keep the current version of this fic on my website for posterity. I'm probably going to start posting Broken Timeline first, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Are you as shocked as I am? Karina updated a story! Who knew? I do appologize profusely for taking what ? 5 years (5 years!!!) to update. Unreal I know. So many things have changed since I last posted too. Let's see... it was 2005 and I was still in school. Well I'm not in school anymore! Yeah, real life got in the way, I got a job which turned out to be vortex that sucked out all my energy and free time. But now, I think I'm back and I've got more time (I work less, yeah!) so I can now concentrate on finishing my two WIPs: A Strange Fate *and* The Space Between (no I haven't forgotten that one... it's on hold for a little while longer, at least till I get more done with ASF) I've also read many requests for a sequel to Elves in Space (I really need to rethink that title, it's a little cheesy). I've got that up the pipeline too. That's my project for November (NaNoWriMo - who participates? It's fun!) so we'll see where that gets us. Anyhoo, I'm really really hoping it won't take me another 5 years for chapter 8 of ASF, I don't think so, I've got the next few chapters planned out and chapter 8 is outlined. So we're getting somewhere!

Don't worry I read all the reviews and you are in my mind! And i really appreciate all the nice comments, emails and reviews I've been getting over the last few years. You've given me a reason to keep going! And the reviews I just got for chapter 7! They're awesome, thanks guys! I'm glad to know I still have readers out there! You've given me the fuel I need to keep the fires burning!

Now... I've got a new chapter to write!
