This is the story of how Eclipsa became the most powerful queen in the history of Mewni. When faced with the pressure from her mother and the danger of the Mewman and monster war, Eclipsa must do whatever it takes to survive.

The Forest of Certain Death is not a place most Mewmans would hang out in for fun, Princess Eclipsa is not like most Mewmans. While taking a secret night walk, she meets a kid monster who intrigues and challenges her perceptions of monsters and her own people, beginning a ripple effect to the Butterfly Dynasty with long-term consequences.
