Hello, friends. My name is Maethril, and I am generally a reader and writer of Lord of the Rings and other Tolkien-related fanfiction. However, I do occasionally feel the urge to try my hand in other fandoms, thus the creation of this account. I think you'll find that I am very passionate about fantasy, and often have heavily Tolkien/mythology impacted elements in my work. You'll also most likely find that I am very keen on following the rules in how a world works. After all, it is the author's creation, not yours.

I admit that I'm not a massive fan of fantasy outside Tolkien, but I do enjoy A Wizard of Earthsea, The Night Angel Trilogy, A Song of Ice and Fire, Ranger's Apprentice, and other books. My interest in Percy Jackson, and in other Greek works (primarily the Iliad) is due to my Greek heritage. At this point, I must also admit that Fanfiction.Net is a collection of both my seriousness and satire. Criticise me for the latter if you will, but know that your remarks will fall upon deaf ears.
