Welcome to the official FFN account for the Naruto FanFiction Awards, or the Ficcy's for short. This account will accept Fan Fictions that qualify for each category's rules in the award year, October 2011 - October 2012. The month of November 2012 will be spent gathering Fan Fiction stories for the prenominations. Nominations will be announced in January 2013, and voting will commence in the final week of January 2013. The winners will be announced in early-February 2013.

The categories in the 2012 Naruto FanFiction Awards will be divided into four categories: General Stories, Het Stories, Slash Stories, and FemSlash Stories. Here are the qualifications in each division:

General - To qualify for the General category, a story must not contain a main romantic pairing. Romantic pairings may exist within the story, but it cannot be the focus.

Het - To qualify for the Het category, a story must contain a main romantic pairing between a male and a female. The story does not have to keep the relationship as the sole focus, but it must be a primary focus.

Slash/Yaoi - To qualify for the Slash/Yaoi category, a story must contain a main romantic pairing between two males. The story does not have to keep the relationship as the sole focus, but it must be a primary focus.

FemSlash/Yuri - To qualify for the FemSlash/Yuri category, a story must contain a main romantic pairing between two females. The story does not have to keep the relationship as the sole focus, but it must be a primary focus.

To qualify as a story, the story in question must a) be multiple chapters and b) either have been completed in the award year or been updated in the award year.
