Hello there. I am female, Dutch and 19, soon to be 20, years old. I write mostly in English, even if Dutch is my native tongue.
I almost solely write Harry Potter fanfiction. Sometimes I read other fandoms as well, but far more rarely.

Although there are currently no stories uploaded here at FFN, here's some basic information about what I tend to write:

-Pairings: Slash, femslash and het, as well as stories without pairings at all; I do not necessarily stick to canon pairings.
-Ratings: K to MA, although I will not upload stories here that are above M, as I have no wish to get banned;
-Length: One-shots and drabbles (and collections of those), as well as (very) long stories, but not much in-between;
-Language: English; sometimes Dutch.

Most of my stories will not be canon-compliant (I tend to write mostly time-travel, AUs, redo fics ("Peggy Sue", no relation known to Mary Sue), crackfics, parodies, What Ifs and (very) different interpretations of canon scenes) but will usually feature canon-characters as main characters.
I do make use of OCs from time to time, but I generally prefer not to make the story center around them.

With exception of use in parodies and crackfics, I abhor Mary Sue and Gary Stu.

Which means you will not come across original characters along the lines of "Elizabeth Antionette Eliora Felicity d'Angella, the beautiful transfer student and former abuse-victim, higher on Voldie's hitlist than even Potter and Dumbledore, so powerful she could kick Harry's behind while she's still asleep, beloved by all Hogwarts males including even Snape, but the unfortunate target of much undeserved jealousy from her fellow female classmates and her family" in any story of mine that is intended to be taken even just somewhat serious, rather than parody or crackfic.

My characters could often be considered OOC (compared to canon) because the stories I write tend to place them in different situations than they were in in the books; I do attempt to keep them convincing and somewhat realistic, however.

I consider the books, not the movies, to be canon for Harry Potter. I mostly ignore information released outside the books, with some small exceptions here and there. (Such as Crookshanks being part-Kneazle)

I might - provided that I find the story at least somewhat interesting, it is in a fandom I am familiar with and I am not overly busy - be willing to beta-read stories; furthermore, I might be willing to translate Dutch fanfiction to English or English fanfiction to Dutch if asked so by the author of said fanfic.

Currently working on two "collection"-stories (multiple drabbles or one-shots connected by, for example, theme or subject or prompt):

-Mad as a (Sorting) Hat, a collection of one-shots and drabbles centered around the Sorting Hat.
Some of these pieces follow canon (I intend on writing a conversation between Neville Longbottom and the Hat during his Sorting, for example), others will not be. Some drabbles and one-shots will be parodies or crackfics.

-I'm Sorry, a collection of stories which, in one way or another, deal with the phrase "I'm sorry". First piece has been written and uploaded to this site. Again, some pieces will follow canon, others won't. May or may not include crackfics and parodies.
