In an alternative universe, Hermione is at the end of her third year, the war is over and Dumbledore has been told he must send her, along with some of her fellow students, to Durmstrang, to promote solidarity among young witches and wizards. In a new country, surrounded by strange men who do not speak her language, Hermione must find a way to flourish in her year abroad.
