![]() Author has written 57 stories for Merlin, Harry Potter, and Glee. Remember to always be yourself. Unless you suck. - Joss Whedon When someone apologies to you enough times for things they'll never stop doing, I think it's FEARLESS to stop believing them. It's FEARLESS to say "you're NOT sorry", and walk away. - Taylor Swift The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. - Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Sometimes you've got to do what you think is right and damn the consequences. - Morgana (Merlin) I was a very defensive kid 'cause I was really sensitive underneath and didn't want people to know. So I came off as very tough and very angry. - P!nk If you take fanfiction so seriously that you claim a final chapter of a story has 'ruined your life'... Yikes! You desperately need to turn the computer off, back away, and go and start freaking living. I absolutely love Merlin, Harry Potter and Glee. However I have been stuck in the Glee world for a while now. I may return to writing for Merlin or Harry Potter one day, but for now my writing is all Glee based. My fave pairings include: From Merlin: Merlin and Arthur (the chemistry between Colin and Bradley is amazing) I also really like Merlin/Morgana, Arthur/Morgana but nothing beats the two boys I'm also in love with Tony Head (Uther) especially when he sings. I loved him as Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I've loved him in everything I've seen since. In a way, I feel like he's somewhat of a father figure and helped raise me a little (my sister shares this view). Of course, that's quite disturbing taking into consideration that we both find him sexy. I must also mention Alexis Denisof as Wesley on Buffy/Angel. I really loved how his character was developed. From Harry Potter: Harry and Draco - completely out of character and unrealistic, would never happen, but they are the couple that introduced me and a friend to boy/boy slash. If we hadn't ever accidentally stumbled across that then we may never have ever discovered how beautiful homosexual stories can be. Who knows, maybe we'd even have turned out homophobic. So for that reason I just have to love the pairing. Harry and Ron - a friend and I stumbled across fanfiction accidentally. The first piece we ever read was a Harry/Ron friendship fic. Remus and Sirius, and Remus and Snape. Two very different ideas there but I love all three characters for different reasons. Remus, because he's so gentle and made such a great teacher. Sirius, for being so badass he could break out of Azkaban. Snape, purely for the mystery that always surrounded his character. Until the final book I never knew for sure whether he was good or bad, and as it happens I think he falls into a gray area. But discovering his love for Lily and that single use of the word 'always', wow. Ron and Hermione - I always wanted it to happen and I'm glad that it did. As far as I'm concerned, they were always meant to get that kiss. I'm not sure I agree with them staying together forever, getting married and having kids, I always thought it would be more of a summer fling get-it-out-of-their-system type thing. Harry and Luna - I just find it interesting Neville and Hermione - I think Neville is possibly my favourite character of the kids (Severus Snape is first - R.I.P Alan Rickman), I loved how he developed from that clumsy, timid boy to the brave young man who really steps up and comes into his own during the last few books/movies. He went from zero to hero in my eyes and I always wondered what might have happened had Hermione attended the Yule Ball with him were she not already going with Krum. From Glee: Puck and Kurt - Chris Colfer is just so gorgeous, I have never been so deeply attracted to a gay male before and his acting is superb. Kurt and Sam - just adorable and it should have happened, sadly I'm not too skilled at writing them in a romantic sense. Sam and Blaine - I quite like the idea of the two of them but only in fanfiction. I wouldn't want the writers to suddenly change Sam's sexuality in the show (unless it was for him to steal Kurt away, sorry Mercedes, Blaine). I love Sebastian Smythe, I wish we could see more of him. I know we're not supposed to like his character, but gah, I can't help it, I love seeing him on screen and I like the idea of Kurt and Sebastian as a couple. Dave Karofsky - just a bully in the beginning but then he became a real character to me, one I could sympathise with and care for. I would have loved for his character to have remained on the show and I certainly like the idea of a Dave and Sebastian relationship. Also, have to say how much I love Santana, Burt, Carole and Coach Beiste. My fave performances from Glee... Season 1 - Keep Holding On - New Directions Season 2 - I Want To Hold Your Hand - Kurt Hummel Season 3 - Uptown Girl - The Warblers Season 4 - You've Lost That Loving Feeling - Sam and Ryder Season 5 - Loser Like Me - Sam, Tina, Artie and Blaine Season 6 - Listen to Your Heart - Rachel and Jesse My fave music includes: Taylor Swift, Pink, Fleetwood Mac, Blink 182, Westlife, Meat Loaf, Tammy Wynette and Halestorm. My fave films: Beauty and the Beast, Repo - the Genetic Opera, My Best Friend's Wedding, 10 things I hate about you, Mamma Mia, Dirty Dancing, Letters to Juliet, A Single Man, Bridget Jones' Diary, Valentine's Day, The Hangover and Love Actually IF YOU BELIEVE HOMOPHOBIA IS WRONG... REPOST THIS Scream I didn’t scream Just bit my tongue and swallowed But I could not digest the pain The betrayal, the agony Nightmares attacked Such painful reminders Far too solid ghosts Of all too real memories Smiles faded Laughter died And happiness fled Then whispers sounded in my head For only myself to hear Could not block the sound Was not able to ignore So I listened A new friendship was formed My new sharp metal friend We made such beautiful art together Silver, red and white A frightfully fascinating combination But friends come and go I lost contact with silver More than once After a short break We shared a bloody reunion Then I left again Only to seek silver out once more Silver belonged with porcelain and crimson But the friendship had to reach a permanent end Farewell my sharpest friend Gone but not forgotten I’ll wear your reminders Not with shame or guilt But with pride For I was strong enough to say goodbye And strong enough to keep living Despite the fact I did not scream Not that anyone was listening But eventually I did speak up They listened And they believed But could not help No-one will ever truly help I could cry a tear or two Whisper till I scream But it would not change a thing The memory will still haunt me At its most painful when he’s in the room He who dares to greet me hello To offer a smile To bid me farewell He who dares to look upon me Not even seeing the damage inside I was silent for so long And now I am quiet once more It is too late to clean such a mess Too late to undo what was done Too late for forgiveness But it is never too late to scream And someday I will Right in his face Oh yes, my screams will deafen him My screams will deafen all XXX WARNINGS - Typically, I don't really support warnings. If I do include them in a story then I do so reluctantly and usually at the prompting of a reader. Obviously some people are sensitive about different subject matters but I really view warnings as a spoiler and I detest spoilers. If I see a warning on someone else's work it does slightly ruin the enjoyment of the story for me because I know beforehand that a certain something is about to happen and it takes away the shock value. Do you get a warning about the content of a chapter in a real published book? No, you do not. So why should it be expected on a piece of fanfiction? In my opinion, it shouldn't be expected but I'm aware that many people will disagree. However, while I will begrudgingly include warnings sometimes, I'd like to make it clear here that I refuse to ever warn for which character will be top/bottom and it is very unlikely that I will warn for character deaths. XXX No, I don't write requests so please don't ask me. No, I don't want to collaborate with you, it's a nice offer, I'm flattered, but I know I'd try to take over everything and be a nightmare to work with. No, I will not change my British spelling to American. Am I stuck up? Personally I don't think so, but apparently I can come across that way in writing. Am I petty? Oh yes, definitely and its probably not going to change any time soon. Am I Am I disappointed that my most reviewed fic is for a het couple? Little bit. |
