My name is Tara, but you can call me Socks. (The irony there is that I'm usually barefoot.) I'm a young aspiring writer with big goals and big dreams. Amongst those are becoming trilingual; visiting Switzerland (I couldn't tell you why, but I've had the strangest fascination with that country for four years...) and eventually the rest of the world; becoming a published author; getting something patented; memorizing all of the constellations; owning a coffee shop; becoming nocturnal; and someday finding love.

Notice how those get weirder and weirder as they go on - which is pretty much my personality in a can - and then, BAM! Love. It's weird, isn't it? How I begin to sound like such an interesting person and then end up right back where most girls are.

Oh well.

Let's see.. if I had to pick a few words to describe myself, they would probably be unpredictable, indecisive, friendly, weird, impatient, perfectionistic, individual, and witty. My favorite colors are neon carrot and cerulean; my favorite animals are bunnies, dolphins, and songbirds; my favorite season is autumn; my favorite food is salmon; and my favorite bands are Relient K, Owl City, and the Script.

I love to write. I like drawing, too, but I'm not quite as good at it. Not that I'm good at writing, but I'm better at writing than - ehh, forget it. Anyway, I love writing. Half of the time I find myself jotting down story ideas on napkins, so I decided to put that to good use. I'm a pretty creative person (if I do say so myself), but it's rare for any of those ideas to end up on paper.

I also love Hetalia - I know it sounds stupid, but this fandom has introduced me to several of my closest friends, not to mention a newfound love of the world around me. (My OTP is USUK. Haters, go ahead and hate, but you're not going to stop me from loving it. I'm a fan of FrUK, too, by the way. As well as Spamano, LietPol, PruHun, FrCan... you get the picture.) And, of course, I LOVE my computer/the internet.
