![]() Author has written 1 story for Marvel. How many times have I sat down to fill something like this out? How do you condense yourself down to a few paragraphs? I am older than I look, and I have done a lot of different things in my life. Computers were one of my first loves and I have been online for a very long time. I have created Games of all sorts, from years of live action RPGs, to online Muds. Spent some time making music, worked in all sorts of places to learn about different aspects of life, and read every book I have ever been able to get my hand on. Comics were a big part of my life when I was young. Growing up in the military they were one thing I could count on. I had been away from them for quite a while (outside of special things like 'The Dark Knight') until a random visit to a comic shop lead to me seeing Spider-Girl. Spider. Girl? Hmmm... Daughter of... Wow. I only read a couple, but SpiderGirl makes me feel a little bit of what SpiderMan did when I was just a tiny human. However I do feel the entire medium of comics is not handling this new realism all that well. I give Marvel full marks for riginality, for a well executed concept... But the Civil War was more pain than joy to read. I wrote why in my little story. Unless it turns out that the 'Captain America' we watched in the War was not in fact the actual Cap... well ok I am not going to finish that sentence, but it was not going to be a nice thing to say about Marvel. Where they go from here, and what they will look like in a year or two kinda worries me. I have a pure Original story over on FictionPress. MetaWar It deals with what I think would happen if a group of humans gained powers, superpowers to be exact. If you wish to contact me, or discuss any of my stories please visit my Homepage. It is called "The Darque Cafe" and is the latest in a long line of Forum creations. PM me there, or post a Thread, however you like. I love talking about my work but I must warn you, I do not worry nearly as much as most about 'spoilers'. If you ask me a question, I will most likely answer it. If in doing so you end up lessening your enjoyment of my work, opps. |
