Author has written 1 story for Firefly.

First, I would like to thank you for stopping by; I have enjoyed reading and writing all my life. I have written several novels, one in college, that save my ass, grade wise, that is. I have never been the hero and have always seemed to fall into the victim side of the story. I have had three computers stolen over the years. Oh, I saved my work if you call 5-1/2 floppy, saving. Yeah, that does say a lot about my age.

I started writing on a TI-99a home computer. That is Texas instruments 99a. Not sure, what the "a" stood for by they must had thought it important. The computer was crappy even for the 80's, back when the Trash-80's were all the rage and the Mac's were still on the horizon. In fact I didn't work on an Apple until the late 80's. That was high school.

I like Sci-fi and science; I was president of my Sci-fi club and VP of my high school science club. I saw the world differently I suppose. Always, looking at a problem and deciding how I would fix it, if I were answering to Captain Kirk.

I loved playing D&D; role-playing was a big part of my early teen years. If you noticed I didn't say AD&D. I play the basic early on and then mid 80's started play the advanced version. I soon grew tired of role-playing using modules, and started using my brain, to create my own adventures. One day, I began creating an adventure as we played, LIVE. Everyone liked that style best, and soon I was being requested to role play for several groups around campus. I started using GURPS, first and second edition. My main group of role-players grew to 13, and my days got very busy.

The days of role-playing are over and days of raising a family have begun.

I love Zombie movies, I love Alien movies (Which I saw in a drive in, in the back seat of my dad's car) and just about anything Sci-fi. When Fox canceled Firefly, I was heart broken. I really like the thought of the average guy, buying a space ship and heading out into the black. I like Alien Resurrection, not for the story, but the idea, of the small ship and crew, having to deal with the massive Corporation in space. WOW, what an idea.

Speaking of the movies, when I was young, I spent at least one weekend evening at the local drive inn, the name of that drive inn was the Starlight, where all my adventure began.

Once again, thanks for stopping by, stay shiny. Jay.
