YES! I have done it. After over a year of reading fan fiction and even longer writing fan fiction (before I even knew it was called fan fiction). I have finally made an account and finally will start posting my work...

Just let me read through it one more time.

Okay quick notes about me.

I'm still figuring out my writing versus updating schedule. So far I update regularly for a while then take a 'break'(any ware from a week to a month), then update regularly. I like to have numerous ruff-draft chapters (entire story if I am capable) prewritten before I publish anything.

I am dyslexic, but I have read so much that it doesn't bother me too much anymore, but it does affect my grammar without me realizing it.

I am a bit of a perfectionist and this makes it hard to post anything because I want everything to be just perfect before I show it to anyone. It also makes me a bit nit-picky in reviews (at least I feel I can get that way).

I am not a flamer. If I don't like something then I won't review, follow, or favorite it.

If I favorite or follow something, odds are it is so I have an easy way to reread them as much as I want (man I wish I did this ages ago)

If I leave a review, I love it

If I leave constructive criticism it means I adore your work and want you to get even better.

It is hard for me to narrow down exactly what I look for in a story (and by extension what I strive to put into my own). Sometimes a story will be written just so beautifully that I come back to read it again and again. Other times a story will not live up to my higher-then-life standers but I still love it, either because the actual plot is pure gold or for some other reason I have yet to put into words.

One thing I hate above all else is having authors not finish a story or label one as 'complete' if they have given it up. for this reason, if I don't have the entire story planned out or have full intentions of finishing it I will let you know BEFORE you start reading it. Knowing me though, I probably won't post anything unless I basically have the entire thing prewritten.

Don't really ship any couples. How the relationship is portrayed in the story is all I really care about. This applies to slashes and other "taboos". Some things may make me feel uncomfortable at first but if it is written properly I suddenly become fine with it.

In the end, all I really care about is the story. Whether I am reading it, writing, or reviewing it. I want everything to be the best it can be. I want it to make me cry, laugh, or hit me in the gut so hard I have to stop reading but can't. Depends on my mood.

SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS!

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy
behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has
legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed
at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites,
and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were
allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun
marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay
couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs
more children.

7) Obviously, gay parents will raise gay children, since straight
parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like
ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country.
That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could
never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to
cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing

The Fanfic Writer's Code of Honor

Bold whatever you need to work on

1. Use SpellCheck and proper grammar. I don't care how interesting your story is. If you have the grammatical skills of a drunken third grader, no one is going to read it.
2. Update! Not every day, but more than once a year. If you don't update for a ridiculously long period of time or discontinue it, put your story up for adoption.
3. No Sues or Stus. No exceptions.
4. Leave reviews. Everyone begs for them- you included- so you should honor other people's wishes and give them out.
5. ANs shouldn't be longer than the chapter itself.
6. Don't write too many incomplete stories at the same time. You'll end up stretching yourself thin and making no progress on any of them.
7. If thirty plus people point out a plot hole, out of character moment, or other error, go back and fix it.
8. (Optional, but probably a good idea) Leave a "will." Have someone who, if you don't update for X months, will either adopt your stories or find someone else to continue them.

Kronos: Clockwork's all-knowing sight as always been somewhat of a curse, but one he has learned to live with. Lately, his curse has been lifting, ever so slightly...but only around the one being he is supposed to be watching and of course his sight only fails right before he will need it the most.

Lair Called Home: His world had gone to hell and he had nowhere to go. He doesn’t know what father will react but he needed help, and there they were. Like Daniel always said he would be. This Lair has become more home than anywhere else, and now he doesn’t know what to think. Maybe it’s time for this clone to start thinking for himself. Not just for what is right for him but for his brother.

Crystle Castle: the Winter Holiday Truce was on the horizon and with it came celebrations. It was the one day of the year were all ghosts took a truce of peace.
