Subject: NEW TWILIGHT SERIES FANFICTION CONTEST

Okay, everyone, we (PAT and BToL) have noticed that, in the Twilight series, Isabella Marie Swan seems to be more of an enigma (mystery) than we give her credit for. We don’t mean to say that we don’t understand her, we are merely pointing out the fact that the main factor in bringing Edward and Bella together is because Edward can’t read her mind and thus she becomes a total mystery to him.

Soon, we started talking about this factor and we eventually decided that we should try to create a story to go along with our idea. But, even though we are almost identical in thoughts, we could never find a way to get it out on paper.

Eventually, BToL suggested holding a contest to see if anyone else would have better luck with the idea. So now, here we are.

Here are the rules.

No lemons, limes yes, lemons, no. REMEMBER THAT!You may make it however long of a story you want, however, we suggest making a condensed version for the contest and then posting up the full version separately, just be sure to differentiate the two.You are allowed one story with no limits on the length, 1 story with 10 chapters and 3 one-shots.Collaborations are allowed, however either one or however many are working on it must take the credit. (Meaning either you let one person get the credit or the whole team gets it.)optional but recommended Somehow try to get the words TEARS, POISON, BROKEN, and LIFE into the story. Deadline is July 28, 2009. Contest officially begins May 16, 2009. Bella must either be the new girl, the “expert,” or returning/exchange student.Bella MUST without ANY exceptions be the one who seems to always be shrouded in mystery. The Cullen’s must either be all vampires or at the very least human with their “extra” powers. (i.e. clairvoyance, telepathy, manipulative empathy, unnatural strength, determination/willpower, etc.)COPY AND PASTE THIS IN EVERY STORY YOU SUBMIT FOR THE CONTEST!!

That’s about it. We will have the results of the contest by late August, early September at the very latest. Thank you!
