We need stories of hope, stories so powerful they have the potential to bring the readers to their knees while simultaneously making their souls sing! If you're up for the challenge, this is the contest for you!

There are no specific pairings and we're even encompassing two different fandoms (if we get enough interest in both). We plan to include both the Twilight and Supernatural fandoms! Yes, you read that right! The contest is anonymous, so there can be no submissions from an existing story. There are prompts that are numbered on the Prompts page, but it is not mandatory to use one. We ask that you at least take a look at them and if one speaks to you, fabulous. Just because this is a contest to raise awareness about Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes, you DO NOT have to write about the disease. You are welcome to write about any disease or someone wanting to get out of a bad situation...or you can go the love route. Maybe a couple really wants to have a baby or maybe someone is searching for their true love...it's completely up to you. There are literally tons of possibilities!

RULES:

- Length: 2,500 to 16,000 words.

- Genre: All genres accepted, as long as the central theme is hope.

- Rating: All ratings accepted. Lemons are not necessary, but are welcomed, so please keep that in mind when you're reading the stories.

- Pairing: No specific pairings.

- ABSOLUTELY NO incest, bestiality, rape, RPF, or pedophilia. Offending submissions will be disqualified upon receipt.

- Number of Entries Allowed: 2 single entries per author or 1 single and 1 collaboration.

- You may continue your one-shot, but only after voting has concluded and winners have been announced.

- All submissions will be validated, so please be sure they follow the rules and have been previously beta'd. If you don’t have a beta, let us know and I will attempt to set you up with one. Judges are not allowed to submit to the contest, beta any submissions, or help out in any way. This is what we like to call a conflict of interest, so please do not ask them.

- We encourage you to pimp the contest, but seeing as how this is an anonymous contest, you are not allowed to hint as to which story is yours. Please do not tweet/post anything right after you have sent in your entry. Also, there is to be absolutely NO pimping of specific stories. That goes for all the betas as well. Let's make this fair and tons of fun!
