Yes, I am alive. I've been focusing on publishing some fiction short stories through Barnes and Noble and Amazon. I think my Twilight fanfiction is done; I will do my best to complete everything I've started. I really want to see Ashes through to the end in particular. I still very much resonate with Victoria.

Also, I'm apparently addicted to writing Voltron fiction at the moment. So, plenty still to come. I have a word document of "scribbles" - random, miscellaneous scenlettes that pop into mind. Eventually I hope they'll get a story around them or settle into one that already exists.

--Random Bits About Me--

Most of my writing happens in the shower. Not actually in the shower, but all my ideas happen while I'm bathing, and so I keep a notebook nearby to jot them down. Then when I'm dry, I sit down and write on the computer. (I've actually forgotten the 'dry-off' part. It doesn't make for a happy keyboard.)

I'm a dancer, physicist and writer. I've been focusing on some fiction lately.

Ashes - Victoria wasn't always the cruel, wicked vampire she is in Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. She used to be human - just like Bella. What happened to her? What was her change like? Where did she meet James? Why does she hate Bella so much? A very long piece starting from Victoria's human days, and following her through her second death. This piece is ridiculous. I'm so in love with Victoria, it's insane. I very much want to tell her story because I feel she's an often overlooked character. Several chapters in with much to go. Even if my Twilight writings have wound down, this I still aim to complete, don't worry!

Bridges (AU) - a new genre to an old favorite. I've never written any Voltron fanfiction before (old school not new) but the release of the new Netflix one rekindled my love for the original. I've always been a massive Lotor/Allura shipper, and for some reason I feel compelled to write about it. It's been quite a while since I've written fanfiction and even longer since I've seen the entirety of this show. Bridges explores what happens between the Arusian princess and the Crown Prince of Doom when both their spacecraft are grounded on a neutral, feral world and they are left to lean on each other to survive. Allura learns to trust Lotor in ways she never has before, while he in turn comes to appreciate more and more the wild and free nature of the princess he longs to tame. Bridges can be built, bridges can be crossed, and bridges can burn. What starts off as a shaky alliance builds and transforms as outside threats converge on the unlikely couple.

Fluffy, but drama, and what originally was going to be a four-part canon-esque piece has completely spiraled out of control. It will probably culminate around 18 chapters. I know how it ends, and I have the plot mapped out. Just a matter of filling in the in-betweens and seeing how long they are.
