My name is Gwinne, and I'm just returning to dabble in a bit of fanfiction writing after a long hiatus (seven years!). Back then, I wrote under a different pseudonym and ended up stopping due to time constraints in real life. Now that I've gotten to where I want to be, both professionally and personally, I have time to play around with this type of writing again.

So who am I? Well, I'm currently toiling away as another cog in the corporate sector, and have been an IT analyst (consultant and otherwise) for over ten years. But that's my day job, and I'm a huge supporter of the philosophy: 'Work to live, not live to work.'

And what does that mean exactly? Well, I work (and enjoy my job), but I firmly believe that we do it so we have the means to enjoy life. For me, I love pushing my limits. That means setting goals for myself, both physically and mentally. That being said, I'm an absolute nut when it comes to physical activities: I run marathons (full, halfs, and all the distances below that), compete in triathlons (just sprint distances for now, but aiming for Olympic distance soon!), and aiming for my next degree black belt in martial arts.

And writing? That's what I do to satisfy my mushy insides. I enjoy writing, and I especially enjoy writing stories with heavy doses of romance. I write original stories (under the pseudonym G.O. Noce), and for fun (when time permits), I dabble around here on this site (and trying to reclaim the glory of my youth when I was started on here over a decade ago... wow, I'm old. )
