When Santana finds out that Puck is getting married, she proposes to Quinn in order to beat him to the altar and win a bet they made in high school. In this story, I attempt to resolve what it appears will go unresolved on the show (their relationship) while also wrapping up the plots of season 3 in my own way.

The circumstance of their meeting is not ideal, but they discover they have an attraction while Quinn is trying to stop a killer and Santana is trying to avoid becoming a victim.

Santana Lopez: world class playgirl; hottest bitch in town. Quinn Fabray: world class lawyer; prettiest lips in the city. And then there's the contract: the stupidest thing that they both, somehow, agreed to.

When Santana's big move virtually coincides with a new type of encounter with an old friend, her life is suddenly turned around. Time spent with Quinn quickly moves far from friendship, along the road to something both initially struggle to define. Overwhelmed by Quinn & the cities which separate them, Santana searches to find a balance while still trying to find her dream.
