When the return home from a mission goes sideways, it's up to D'Artagnan to take care of his brothers. The problem is, who will take care of him?

Paris had never been known as a city where milk and honey flowed but it had taken care of itself and its people. Once the streets had been the veins, pulsing with life. Never empty, never quiet, never safe but always home. Then, things had changed dramatically and it had all begun with a few dead goats. Hurt!Athos. Hurt!d'Artagnan. Brotherly moments. Rated for gruesome images.

He knew he should have followed the order. If he had Aramis wouldn't be lying in the infirmary and he wouldn't be bleeding on his bedroom floor. In which d'Artagnan disobeys an order and the fallout is disastrous.

Here is a story which will probably be my last fanfiction. It's d'Artagnan centered but, of course, the other three are very important and the events are seen through the eyes of everyone. The Musketeers are dispatched on a mission to retrieve a missive from Louis' cousin Eleonora. They are sent to Nice to meet with her messenger and just when it seems like everything will go to plan all Hell breaks lose. Now, with one brother missing and another injured, the Inseparables must choose between loyalty to each other and loyalty to the King. Rated T just to be safe.

[S3 AU] September 1636. The Musketeers are on their way across France to continue the fight on the northern front, but an ambush in the night sets into motion events that can change the fate of the war. Athos carries the heavy mantle of captaincy, Aramis's soul is no less restless than before, and war touches the Inseparables' brotherhood in more profound ways than they'd imagine.

All for one. One for all. A story about how the musketeers react to the loss of one of their own, and just how far one man will go to save his brothers.

'Two bodies and one unconscious man littered the ground around his feet. Panting d'Artagnan turned slowly on the spot. Where was Porthos' A brief fight with some bandits leaves d'Artagnan wondering where his friend disappeared to.

"... As he puts a hand on the knob he feels a weird sensation, like a tingling. It's almost painful and he snatches his hand away automatically. He touches it again more cautiously but feels nothing, so he turns the knob, shaking his head. The silence of the house must be getting to him." He hung limply from the chains that held him suspended slightly above the ground, making his body numb with pain. Blood dripped rhythmically to the floor, drawing a small smile from his lips. Soon. Soon the pain would be gone. The pain in his body and, most importantly, the pain of betrayal in his heart. At least when he was dead he would have peace, but would they think of him?

Hello, everyone! I got an interesting Christmas gift early! I was actually approached by mcguires63, who happened to save the lost chapters at the time of their publication before they were The Lost Chapters . so without further ado, here's the missing chapters back up! (These would be 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, and 16 !

Set at the start of S3, flashing back across 4 years of war between S2 and S3. Our stories are told in our scars, both seen and unseen. When the men return from the front, it's quickly clear Paris isn't the only thing that's changed. Constance gathers the stories of their years at war like pages in a book, seeking a glimpse of pictures only those present could truly see.

D'Artagnan remembers his father told him once years ago, when d'Artagnan was still a boy, that there are few things in this world worth dying for. But then there are some things that are, and d'Artagnan made his choice a long time ago.

A falling out becomes a kidnapping and a kidnapping becomes a death, of sorts.

They were just about done with dinner when the first shot rang through the night. d'Artagnan ducked more out of instinct than anything else, throwing himself down next to half a rotten wall on the south side of the barn. He didn't even know which direction the shot had originated from, just that staying out in the open was a bad idea. "Anyone hit?", he asked.

S2, after Through a Glass Darkly. Out of favor with the King, Treville and d'Artagnan are assigned to transport prisoners to Soissons. When their party is ambushed, Rochefort sends the Red Guard after the prisoners under the guise of protecting the King. But the Inseparables mount their own, dangerous rescue, brotherhood holding more importance than a a doomed outcome.

Summary: A collection of brief moments between our musketeers (especially d'Artagnan and Athos), that would otherwise go unnoticed; swallowed up in the hectic parts of a day to perhaps end up in the recesses of memory – tucked away. Chapter Fifteen: As the hour before a mission draws near – our musketeers share a moment of love, allegiance and brotherhood.

Jack never left & Kensi married him as planned. Deeks never joined the LAPD. In a strange twist of fate, as Kensi's marriage crumbles, they meet. As her lawyer, Deeks goes above and beyond to help her through her divorce & soon the boundaries between them begin to blur. The undeniable spark is there, but will it grow into a fire? AU. When one of their own falls from grace, the musketeers are shattered.Will Richelieu's machinations come to light, or is this the end of the Musketeers? Captain Athos and his company of 30 men are trapped under a stone bridge where it becomes a literal fight for survival. Desperate circumstances call for desperate measure, testing the mettle of the captain. The weight of command is heavy, but it grows heavier still as his company is whittled down, man by man. "Carve your name on hearts, not tombstones..."

Now, as he shivered more violently in the pressing snow, he looked up again at the white ceiling above that trapped him, surprised that the birthday he'd dreaded so would be his last.

Following the events of Season 2, Episode 2, "An Ordinary Man," d'Artagnan is left questioning his suitability to be a musketeer- and with a need to redeem himself in the eyes of his King. Will this new mission do the trick? Or make things worse? A bit of adventure, angst, and H/C to throw in the mix!

"'They didn't get it,' the barely coherent words tumbled from d'Artagnan's lips as his eyes rolled back, his head dropped, and he slipped slowly, sideways, from his saddle." A brother's duty is to his mission, his fellow soldiers, and to his family. D'Artagnan's solo mission doesn't quite go to plan. Story is finished. Will post one chapter a day.

War rages and there is shocking news from home. Men closer than brothers will stop at nothing to get each other through them both.

One of the Musketeers goes missing and it's up to the others to find him.

A catastrophe hits the garrison.

Athos had loved once. Perhaps not as easily as Aramis or as steadily as Porthos or as fiercely as d'Artagnan. But he had loved his brother and his wife and the future laid out before him. And he had lost it all.

When the bloodied body of a slain musketeer is publically left for all Paris to see, Captain Treville trusts no one but his inseparable four to be on the case. A revengeful plight against the regiment, rather than a simple accident, is implied; leaving almost every soldier in the musketeer garrison praying that they are not the next victim.

This story takes place during the season two episode, Keep Your Friends Closer. d'Artagnan searches for independence; Constance, Bonacieux, and d'Artagnan search to accept their fate; Aramis must keep revelations concealed; Treville finds that his loyalty runs deep for Porthos ; and the musketeer's search for solidarity brings them closer together.

Thursday's child has far to go. The sequel to Lost. Twisted plots and intrigue spell trouble for the Musketeers and others as d'Artagnan and Juliette find themselves on an impossibly long road home. His friends have no idea where to even start looking for them, when they both go missing. Featuring Mademoiselle Marie, who is now selling signed autograph cards.

This story takes place during season one; (episodes 1 - 10!) where d'Artagnan and the musketeers receive good advice. And now in Chapter 10: Athos' truth and d'Artagnan's unwitting part in it is finally revealed – leading to advice from all parties involved.

"I failed in my duty as a Musketeer. But worse, I failed in my duty as your friend." Events after Season 2 and beyond.

Aramis never misses... Until he does. [One-shot]

"Your only job is to survive." Athos' voice caught on the last word and d'Artagnan could feel the amount of fear the man held for him. He could not deny his friend so he gave a shaky nod, promising himself that he would survive for as long as possible, the only question being, would it be enough?

d'Artagnan, completely on his own for the first time in his life, finds fate has tossed him an opportunity he's been longing for, though as is often the case, the price of the newly opened door is costly - his father's life. What further payment will capricious fate require if he finds the courage to follow his dream?

This one-shot explains why on earth Constance and d'Artagnan were clothed in their honeymoon bed. I needed to fill in some blanks. ;)

This story takes place during the season two episodes, The Accused and Trial and Punishment. d'Artagnan beaten; Constance rescued; the flight to sanctuary; reunited with Porthos; Aramis returned; King Louis learns the truth; the Musketeers are finally home, and d'Artagnan proposes marraige. The Musketeers are separated in battle, and an injured D'artagnan is dreaming

Set in early season 1. D'Artagnan is feeling sick, but hides it. Then things go awry in a mission, things go life-threatening bad. Shameless D'Artagnan whump.

Tag to the season 2 finale, Trial and Punishment. I needed closure. My take on what happened when the boys went to retrieve Aramis.

In the aftermath of "The Accused", Aramis struggles to come to terms with the consequences of what he's done, and what still might happen to the people he loves.

Constance recovers from the events in Emilie's camp with assistance from the musketeers..

He pulled himself onto the mount and wheeled it around, the three men moving away to give him room. Without a backward glance, he kicked the horse into motion, making his way out of the woods and on his way to being a fugitive.

d'Artagnan waits for news, word of anything that would explain what had happened to his friends.

When Kensi doesn't show up for work, Deeks goes to check on her, but isn't prepared for what he finds. What has happened to Kensi, and is she going to be ok? Complete.

As he rode out of Paris, tears once more clouding his vision and despair pooling in his belly, he couldn't help but wonder at how easily he seemed to have been cast aside.

In the filthy, overcrowded city of Paris, a miasma of sickness spreads its tendrils down every alley and into every home. The Musketeer garrison is detailed to the gruesome work of collecting the bodies piling up in streets and houses. Inevitably, the Inseparables must fall as well. For one who hears the siren call of oblivion, this could be the honorable farewell.

Takes place between the pilot episode and episode 2. My take on what they went through to forge a brotherhood so quickly. D'Artagnan returns home to Lupiac after Athos's release from prison to bury his father. Chapter 10. Loose ends are tied up, things become clearer to d'Artagnan and takes steps to build a new life for himself from the ashes of his old life.

The greatest heroes can be felled by the most ordinary things. Their strength lies in how they get up once they fall. d'Artagnan learns this the hard way.

Kensi comes down with a bad strain of the flu but despite insistence from her team she joins their next case. When the main suspect abducts her, it's up to Deeks and the rest of team to figure out what he wants and why the pieces aren't fitting alongside the emerging facts.

An ongoing collection of one-shots and prompt fills; Hurt/comfort, AUs, the lot.

He was more terrified than he'd let on, but knew that d'Artagnan needed him to stay steady. Now that he was alone, his mind conjured unbidden the many stories he'd heard from those who'd survived the fevers in the past – if this was the start of another epidemic, no one was safe.

After the events at the Boatshed that got Kensi so shaken up, Kensi and Deeks meet back at her place for dinner and movies and end up discussing ways to deal with captivity and torture that they went through. KD.

Set S1, between episodes 3, Commodities, and 4, Good Soldier. A voluntary mission turns d'Artagnan from a wayward recruit into a Musketeer in all but name. However, first things go very, very wrong. As they do. And the men are pushed to their limits to keep their brotherhood intact.

"I believe that our best chance of success is to introduce someone familiar to them. Someone who has been away and has lost everything during that time – his family, his farm. A man such as this might be believed to possess the character of a bandit, regardless of who he might have been in the past. Are you that man d'Artagnan?" Spoilers for ep. 1.10, regular updates.

Hetty has surgery, Kensi is injured, and Nell has the flu. The men of the OSP have to make adjustments while the ladies are out of commission. Humor/Densi/Neric. Story COMPLETE.

D'Artagnan runs into unexpected trouble on his way back from Gascony. Well, Athos may have expected it. And Treville. My attempt to explain the depth of the musketeers' brotherhood, especially when they think they may lose one of their own.

d'Artagnan was infuriating, brash and self-sacrificing, but he was also innocent, impetuous and loyal. Are all younger brothers this much trouble?

Set post S1. It's an unwritten rule of the Musketeers not to delve too deeply into another man's past; it's simply enough to be one of the brotherhood. But when their Captain goes missing, the Musketeers realize the only way to save him is to learn what he's kept hidden for so long. And these men would willingly go through Hell to rescue the man who at one time saved them all.

Written for bbcmusketeer prompt: D'Artagnan knows a lot about horses and working in stables from having taken an interest when he was young. He does come from the country, and there is a farm on his family's land... but he's a little bit confused by this whole 'poor farm boy' and 'peasant' business.

Aramis and d'Artagnan are sent on a mission that is supposed to be without incident, but their broken hearts need mending and other complications arise.

An issue with another musketeers makes d'Artagnan question his commission.(correct story this time, thank you kind readers)
