Dorthea, aka musicallady1, passed away on March 09, 2009.

Well, since some authors have decided to add me to their list (cheeky grin), I guess I should say something about myself. Oh, and I am not writing this in any type of format, but I may come back and re-vamp it a little.

My name is Dorthea, and I live in a small, rural town in Alabama. My hopes are to leave this place, but right now my chains are stuck in the ground. I am 31 years ago, but I still act as if I am between, oh let's say 18-25. I love to read romance, paranormal romance, and some thriller novels. I have a collection of about 100+ books in my room now.

I forgot to talk about my love of anime. I fell into the world of anime on television in 2005. I was channel surfing when I saw Inuyasha for the first time on Adult Swim. From that moment on, I was hooked on all anime that appeared on the Adult Swim channel. My favorites are Bleach, Blood, Inuyasha, Eureka Seven, and now Code Geass. I now watch Ani-Monday on the Sci-Fi channel because they show different types of anime. I'm hooked on Noein and Tokko, and Gurren Lagann. This may shock some of you who know me and my love of books, but I'm giving them up for a while (GASP!). I've decided to invest in buying anime dvds. I have a brand new computer with a flat panel screen and it's so cool watching the movies on it. If anyone has not seen Shuffle! GO GET IT NOW! It's so darn cute and awesome. I love that anime.

I'm still working on my book, and I really don't know if that will ever be finished. I still have the fear of rejection issue going through my head, but my friends lovingly pressured me into writing a fan fiction story. So, I did. It's called "Godparents" and it's going well, I assume. I hope this gives me the confidence to write and publish my writings, or try to anyway. I wanted to give a shot out to the drawer of my avatar. I couldn't find their name when I found the picture on photobucket, but I'm making sure they know I am not taking credit for it. I can't draw worth a flip. March 3, 2009: I have a new story published. It's a one-shot. It's called "Soul Mates", and it is a song fiction story for the most part. It is based off the song "Soulmate" by Natasha Bedingfield. I highly recommend listening to the song before reading the story. It is a Hitsu/Matsu story - my very first one! I'm so proud of it. I hope you all will go check it out!
